Re: CW as a One Brand Collection
The middle ground between the two imho, would be IWC. In fact as im sat here waiting for my delayed train, freezing my little giggleberries off, im thinking IWC wins out (unless the lottery comes in). I didn’t have you down as someone sensible Paul   IWC would be my choice as well for a o...

Re: CW as a One Brand Collection
From thinning my collection by more than half in the last 12 months, I have some kind of visible goal of what I actually want. Despite looking in to this question quite a bit, I cant quite make CW my 1 brand. If money was no object, Rolex would be the easy choice for me. Theres everything I need and...

Re: Manchester Watch Show 9th November
Pinion have some great offerings.
Slightly smaller cases than works for me, and tbh the only one thats properly blown my fringe back is Guys that he has/had for sale. Rest are a bit vanilla.
Nothing at all to dislike, but......

Re: 1st class rail versus standard
Sorry for only just seeing this thread Drew. Solid advice as always from people. Although I dont drive passenger trains now (im on freight), I still travel on passenger services fairly long distances 2 or 3 times a week. The main benefit of 1st class is the peace & quiet. You'll be able to enjoy...

Re: CW in the context of your collection?
CW is the only brand I own more than 1 of. Draken is the only other band Ive owned 2 of, and both are long sold. (Quality watches though). Im close to settling on a small collection I am happy with, but it wont be in the near future. At least I finally THINK im close to a number! Of my current 16 wa...

Re: Happy Birthday Dickchins
Thanks chaps! Apols for my ignorance but I was away in Turkey for 10 days with the lads playing golf and eating and drinking (mainly drinking), until my insides gave up! I dont take my phone with me when I go away, as short of a real emergency, ive zero interest in daily life in England! Was clearly...

H Moser & Cie Pioneer Retograde Seconds Midnight Blue. I think it’s sporty but still a little dressy. Bright but a little understated. Simple but complex. IMG_1683.png Photo from H Moser & Cie website Thats painfully beautiful. Absolute perfect mix of class and sporty. I never even thought ...

You see Doxa at a glance, but then as I looked closer I could see the differences. Doxa aint a bad way to go for a dive watch...
