Re: Pre-orders C63 Sealander GMT 39mm

^^^I think the Hunter Green is showing an older strap. The straps that I have bought in the last year or so all look like the one on the Dragonfly. I have one of the older ones too that looks like the one on the Hunter.

Re: C1000 (or general Valjoux 7750) clicking

Dirt, aka wrist cheese, you and the watch can do without. My guess is that the dirt has built up over time rather than being applied for your benefit. If it's in the case back thread it needs to come out carefully and not go in. There should be a small rubber sealing ring in there to keep water out...

Re: US Buyers - de minimis rule

You shouldn't as nothing has been announced for the EU/UK as of yet. You can always go through the order all the way to checkout. If Duty is owed you will see it added before finalizing the order.

Re: Customer service

Every watch company has its foibles. A good friend of mine has one of the new Tudor Metas Black Bays. Three weeks new it stopped working and the movement completely seized. The watch had to be shipped back to Switzerland for repair (I am guessing that Tudor HQ captured this watch and wanted to see w...

Re: Late bracelet convert

It does look good on both. I find for myself, I get in moods where I waffle back and forth. Sometimes I am all strap and sometimes only the bracelet will do.

You will still owe import duty in that case too. Timex won't escape either. Everything they are putting out is manufactured in China.

Re: Not thrilled

I get that you ordered the 36mm on bracelet and unfortunately that wasn't available at the time. But I don't understand why you say they sent you a woman's watch? If you thought that the 36mm was a women's watch why order it in the first place? The watch head won't change. You did get a strap that w...

Re: What’s ahead in 2025?

I remember reading a comment somewhere from someone at Tudor saying that one of the reasons they moved to the Kenissi movements was the high QC error rate they were receiving from third party manufacturers (ETA at the time). They stated that they were reworking a very high number of movements straig...
