Lovely tight collection, but there's an empty slot. Any plans to fill it?

Certainly rattling through the numbers now.. although is there any truth if you don't feel any after effects, after the jab,it's possible you've had Covid without knowing? Could be nonsense.. Yes; you've definitely been rattling through your posts this evening.  Any truth in . . .? No. ...

Re: Longines Dolce Vita Sector Dial

I agree some nice raised numerals would be great. I think the fact it has arabics sets it apart (there are plenty in the same collection with Romans). There are plenty of choices out there with Romans. I would definitely look at this. The crown looks a little suspect on the usability front but easy ...

Re: 3 slot watch holder - ideas?

I bought a bunch from Vario that I really like. They have a discount for multiple cushions. They actually spruce up the box nicely. Also a great way to add the funk you are looking for!

Re: CWL of the day

Dartmouth disaster update. All is good :) Using loads of different parts from my spare C60 MK3 bracelet, including the entire clasp assembly, three removable links and also the link that is removable close to the watch case end. All damage is now gone and it is SWEET :) Very happy with my work and ...

Re: Has anyone else had their CW scrapped?

It does seem weird that they didn't just bin the movement and case a new one. Maybe there were other circumstances involved like they didn't have a complete movement in stock and it would be some time before they got one so to speed up a resolution they just offered the replacement. Don't know.

Might be just my eyes or the angle but the one at three looks to be a hair off too.

Re: 3 slot watch holder - ideas?

Hmmmm, funky is the tough nut here I think. Most are pretty plain to be honest. As far as function goes I have this one from Mirage in Midnight Blue. It is PU leather but looks and feels very good (not cheap). The storage system is really good. The watches can't ever touch each other with the slotte...

I use a silicone grease for the gasket. You can buy a type that comes in a circular container. Pop the gasket inside, screw the lid down gently, unscrew and the gasket will be sufficiently lubricated. Also handy for thicker spring bars in tight strap holes.
Here is an example from Esslinger.

The Super Compressor also has a unique bracelet because of the case. Is the AM GT and the Chrono the same? Simple description. Super Compressor is straight edged between the lugs, the AM GT / Chrono is curved. Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk Sorry Guy, I meant do the AM GT and the C65 Chro...

Re: How do you like colour in your watches?

So - I do also love rkovars dartmouth on the NATO. I'm surprised that my watch box really only has two black dial monochrome watches, because for me the ultimate happiness is a monochrome watch on SS with scope for a million strap changes. One is the C11, and the other is the CWC g10. Perhaps I rea...

for me the ultimate happiness is a monochrome watch on SS with scope for a million strap changes. Ah, the possibilities! Here's a black dial Tissot that I never wear because it's quartz, and those tend to die in my watch box - but I love the yellow on black. _X3A9471.jpg Quartz or not if that strap...
