My God, I don't want people to agree with me, I want a discussion.

Re: My Chris Ward Assessment

Well, I do not own a CW watch, but I very much enjoy being a participant of this forum. It is a great source of information for all things watch related. Although I do not own a CW, so have never been in a position to examine one of their watches in the flesh, they do seem to offer quite a lot of w...

My Chris Ward Assessment

In the last four years I have owned three CW watches. My first watch was a C60 600 Trident Pro 43mm. A well made and put together diver with a poor lume and average bracelet. That said, the clasp was excellent. After nearly four years careful ownership I sold it for £100 more than it cost, so no com...

Re: Super Compressor on an after market bracelet

Looks terrible, sorry. Its not too bad that the end link is not fitted, although it will let the watch move about, but the end link is noticeably fatter than the lugs it sits within; creating an imbalanced look. Not for me. Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk Everyone to their own. However, I ...

Re: Super Compressor on an after market bracelet

The bracelet on it's own from CW is £165, which I consider outrageous. Compared to what? That will get you a single link at mid level brands. CW bracelets are a bargain in comparison. Cheaper bracelets, in my experience, don't have an internal tool-less mircro-adjust, QR spring bars or a machined c...

Neil
No, the clasp on the stock bracelet is better, but for the considerable amount I saved, I can live with that. I owned my C60 Trident Pro for four years, and never actually used that feature.

Super Compressor on an after market bracelet

Just thought somebody may be interested. I bought the watch on a strap, because the bracelet version was another £100. I didn't want to keep it on the strap because being of a light colour I knew it would get ruined. I then put it on the strap in the photos, but unfortunately the leather started to ...

Re: Christopher Ward Trident C60 vs Longines Hydroconquest

I have recently been the owner of both the CW Trident C60 43mm (new logo) and Longines Hydroconquest 41mm and wanted to share my views in case others find themselves looking at these models. Both are similarly priced and there is always a lot of comparison made on other forums. I think the CW Tride...

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?

Don't be a ****. The brown version was sold off at half price in the January sale. A number of people bought them to turn a profit. Look on ebay, there are still a few left. I paid about £100 on top, but is was still £350 cheaper than the original MRP. The watch was brand new and sealed, with the 6...

Re: That super compressor

I just got mine. It is the discontinued version with the brown dial, but that's great, because it is the colourway I wanted. I have been a bit unfortunate in the sense mine doesn't actually tell the time very well, and is quite inaccurate, but other than that it is a stunning watch, and has leapt t...

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?

So why did you seek opinions here? You clearly have your own opinion and plan to stick to it. No amount of, in my view sensible, advice is going to change your mind. So there would appear to be no point in any further point in discussing the issue. Unless of course this kind of thread is really wha...

Re: That super compressor

I decided prior to the sale that I wanted a super compressor. I live in the US so it seems like they processed my order later than others. Didn’t matter however as long as it showed up. It arrived today and this was one of the few CW watches I purchased that I didn’t need it to grow on me. The watc...

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?

I must admit I am a little confused here Wiggles. I noticed on WatchUSeek that there is a similar topic "So What Would You do?" that is similar to what you posted here. I also notice a C65 Review similar to the one you posted here. I don't know if WatchUSeek allows multiple names, but it ...
