Re: C63 SH21 Blue Marine
Definitely a lovely looking watch, I really like prefer the blue colour of this dial over the C60 BLUE Limited Edition..... I'm lucky (?) that I don't have the cash at the moment!!!

Re: Help me locate band
It's the same strap as on my C65 Trident, a really comfortable strap when I bought my watch in March 2019. The prodict code of mine is 22-RUB-01-SXB-DC-ST Rubber Strap - Dress Clasp - 22Mm. Then I bought another watch with a hybrid strap that I don't really like. It's okay but not as comfortable. Th...

Re: A Glowing Incoming!
I hadn't paid much attention to this watch - however your picture of the dial remind me of a bucket list! This year is my 25th year of working in the Merchant Navy. Between work and my own travels I have been to all places listed on the dial except for 3. If I had this watch I think my OCD would com...

Re: Brexit - additional duty to pay (UK to EU shipping)
It's not just watches being affected, it has been in the Irish news recently that even second hand cars being purchased privately from the UK into Ireland will also accrue Irish VAT on top of the sale price (whicha also includes UK VAT). Ireland is a big importer of used UK cars as we drive on the s...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
Mine arrived today - so far I'm really happy. The tide strap colours bang on match the light blue of the dial/bezel. The strap is quite stiff but I'm certain it will loosen up with wear. I've been nearly 25 years in the Merchant Navy and it's the best watch I have seen so far that I feel suits my ca...

Re: Deep Dive into CWArchive Contest Winner
Congrats to the winner! I enjoyed the competition but given I have pre-ordered a C60 BLUE, on the off-chance that I did win, I was not sure if my wife would believe me if two watches arrived in the post.........

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
I've bitten the bullet and pre-ordered. I work in the Merchant Navy - this is closet watch that CW have produced in recent times that would suit my profession. It looks to be a beautiful watch overall. Good collaboration with BLUE too.

Re: How is the research going?
Good on both counts; thanks for the feedback. The contest was obviously for a limited audience (the forum) and there is a valuable prize at the end. On behalf of the Admin Team, I can tell you that we thought about that. We put in some questions that were easy to find answers to, along with a few o...

Re: Hybrid strap V2
So it turns out I had the V1 strap... I didn’t realise the version change was so recent 😬 It’s been sold and I’ve splashed out on a V2: I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s lightweight, good looking and very comfortable. Well done Christopher Ward. How can you tell the version differences? I purchas...

Re: Tropic Rubber vs Hybrid Rubber Straps
Hi John, thanks for your response - it has answered my questions. I cannot find anything on the CWarchives regarding straps. As the other posts suggest I will perhaps wait for a sale and try a Tropic strap. I have been changing over to the quick-release straps as I find my fingers are not as nimble ...

Tropic Rubber vs Hybrid Rubber Straps
Hi All, When I purchased my C65 Automatic watch early last year I also ordered the rubber strap (22-RUB-01-SXB-DC-ST) with it. This was my first CW rubber strap and it is very comfortable to wear. I subsequently ordered another CW strap but by then CW had changed to the hybrid straps. I find the hyb...

Re: How is the research going?
A very interesting (and motivating!) method to encourage a browse through the archives, eventually found the answers.....
Looking forward to the next round of questions!

Re: Black vs Blue c60 Elite 1000?
When I ordered my black Elite a few months ago, CW sent the blue to me in error. The colours are nice but too glossy for my liking. I rang CW and made arrangements for the correct watch to be sent to me. I wasn't able to compare the two colours side by side, but when the black arrived it was the bet...
