Re: C65 Trident Vintage MK2 or Tudor Black Bay 36mm

It was a jewellers in Kenilworth - James Moore & Co - basically the shop that operates First Class Watches. If it shows on the FCW website then I suspect they can dig it out for you. Not a million miles away if you're somewhere near Sheffield. No issue with the lugs for me. I think measurements are ...

Re: C65 Trident Vintage MK2 or Tudor Black Bay 36mm

Thought I should probably update / end this thread. As planned, I tried on the BB36. Lovely build quality but it just didn't do anything for me - nor did the 41. I did, however, see this rather nice B&R 123 Vintage which I ended up buying. IMG_20191007_122204.jpg But...on reflection, I decided it wa...

Re: C65 Trident Vintage MK2 or Tudor Black Bay 36mm

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'd probably want a black face BB but will try and check out a blue faced watch this weekend.

Re: C65 Trident Heritage MK2 or Tudor Black Bay 36mm

Apologies, yes, I meant Vintage - not Heritage. I'm not sure where I'm going to get a BB36 for less than £1200. But if you can show me, I'll buy it now! I really appreciate all the comments. I do fancy a CW but I think the first step is going to be to try a BB 36. I love the Tudor I currently have,...

C65 Trident Vintage MK2 or Tudor Black Bay 36mm

Probably a hard one to answer, but I'm torn between the above two. The CW would be a cash purchase at £595, while the Tudor would mean me selling a Tudor Black Bay to fund the purchase. I currently have the Tudor plus four other bracelet watches and really fancy a change. Anybody been in a similar p...

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services

I have to say the bad things I read about CW service do surprise me. My first impressions of the brand are that CS would be a priority. This doesn't seem to be the case though!
