Re: Anyone having issues with C1 Moonglow?
If unsure it's always good practice never to set the date after 9pm and before 5am. That way you're almost certainly safe.

Great dustup ( full on fight) in Sydney Australia Woolworth over toilet paper. Worth a google search if you like to see the worst side of human kind embarrassing themselves. My local Sainsburys supermarket this morning. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200307/ae8aad5822e2d84b5af03c21d4238e6a.jpg ...

Re: Coronavirus
^^^^^ Paul and Dave I hadn’t appreciated that you two gents are expert virologists! Or should I categorise you both as people who are in the “pah, experts who needs them” camp? :) Neil One of my special interest areas was Genetics, part of which of course requires a good understanding of Virus biol...

Re: Coronavirus
Most of the posts about coronavirus (here and elsewhere) focus on the statistics of the virus itself- how quickly it’s spreading, what the mortality rate is, whether there’s a risk of a second rise in deaths later in the year, and so on. I think it’s well worth pointing out that the severity of a n...

Miyota movement, acrylic glass, loads of hype...nope doesn't do it for me and expensive for what it is. As someone else said Seiko, orient etc.. would be my choice at that sort of money.

Re: A Lasting Legacy - Important News from Christopher Ward
On that list, from my knowledge, the WWF was the only really famous one to switch; and even then it was only a one word change to WWE. I don't think the rest of the companies were as famous as they later became when the rebranding occurred. On the other hand Christopher Ward are already really well...

Re: A Lasting Legacy - Important News from Christopher Ward
I still await the rebranding.... Cannot imagine they would, they would have the name copyrighted I would think, and a name change now would destroy years of brand building. Oh...I dunno https://dubaimonsters.com/blog/brands-that-undergone-a-name-change/ to my mind CW could move to the two flags and...

Re: Please help - query on quoted run times and variable stopping
If you heed Paul's advice regarding the winding, there should be no reason to wind every day! I have the very same watch and it will run for 46hrs after a full wind. It's nonsense to tell you that it needs winding daily! A quoted power reserve of 42 hrs is exactly that, a "power reserve"....
