Re: C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 / patina

How do you go about forcing a patina with ammonia and salt? Is it all just experimentation or have you found others have documented their experiences to use as a guide, and if so would I be able to find them on this forum? I think it looks great! Have a Google, you'll find something. Sent from my C...

Re: Barton straps - import duties and RM costs

I bought a Barton elite silicone strap from Amazon UK a couple of months ago. No import duties, came in at about £20 if I remember rightly. It wasn't for a CW though. On the whole, I'm happy with it. There's a 'lock' on one of the two watch bands, and it can be a bit fiddly to get that working, but ...

Re: I'm new here and honestly...

So, I ordered both as I couldn't decide between colours. In the end, it was something else that put me off the blue version. Something pretty obvious in the last picture here... Re: Trident Elite 1000 LE - running slowly - advice please

I was so disappointed with my watch back in September 2019, that I have not worn it since.

Until last week, when I was messing about with straps.

It's running at +1 per day now... which is more than acceptable.

Who knew that automatics could be so quirky?

Hey, sorry I missed your post. Did you get the information you needed or can I help further?

I own one.

Excellent suggestion that I would think has much better value for healthcare
Agreed. This has been very badly thought out. It's crass, plain and simple.

Lockdown strap mashup.

How bored am I???

I think the Bronze GMT works quite well on the hybrid strap. Not sure about the Elite on a vintage oak but I'll give it few days.

Thoughts?

Sorry - no interesting eBay stories.

Are you going to relist? If so, a link would be appreciated.

I'd love a MK2, sans guilloche, same colourway as the Blue Trident Elite LE. And with the MK3 hands!

Re: Is it just me mourning the demise of 43mm?

Hi Guy, I'm interested to know why you think that. Is there a difference in the visible dial diameters MK2 v MK3? Or rather, is the bezel on a MK3 deeper than a MK2. 44mm I could live with, 45mm is dinner plate territory :-) Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk Nothing scientific about it Ian. Just ...

Re: Is it just me mourning the demise of 43mm?

I also preferred the proportions (appearance) of the MK2 but recognise the uplift in quality on the MK3. A MK3 at 43mm... I wish, but it's not going to happen :-( Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk To my mind to get a C60 Trident Mk3 to wear with the same wrist presence as the 43mm C60 Trident MkI...

Re: Is it just me mourning the demise of 43mm?

I agree that the Mark3 42mm version does appear quite a lot smaller than the previous Mark2 43mm version. However with my wrist size being about 18.5cm in circumference, I much prefer the 42mm size as it feels more comfy and I think it looks better sized for me. I realise that this is very much dow...
