Re: Sealander 36mm bracelet quality

So I received my sealander today and first thing that i noticed was the bracelet didn’t feel or sound as good quality as my trident pro bracelet The bracelet sounds like a cheap watch bracelet when it moves , i know its thinner so it will be lighter but it shouldn’t be like this, if anything it sho...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition

Best looking CW I've seen for years. scooter I'll second that. Absolutely love it, and in the 40mm size which is the ideal size for my wrist varies between 7.15 and 7.25 inches. The 40mm Mk3 C60 watches are the only ones on stainless bracelet, that enable me to have the extension sat mid way most o...

Re: Price increase?

Even with their latest new prices, I remain of the opinion that this brand can not currently be beaten when it comes to best overall quality and features within the price points of their most popular models, C60 diver especially.

That is a fabulous looking watch
I love the power reserve indicator, and feel that yours is operating fine from what has been said.
I bought my first Ball watch not long ago, and I agree that they are of sufficient high quality to be worthy of wider recognition.

Re: Christopher Ward Price for a Battery Replacement.

Hi Folks Although some time passed since the previous posting, I read your comments with interest, as the battery in my wife’s Quartz Omega Seamaster needs replacing. To send it away and have it done by an authorised dealer would cost between £60 and £80. I decided to risk attempting the job myself,...

Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2020 6:57 pm Since we're on the subject, Craig. I've never tried a Ball watch. I have the odd tool watch but in general I still prefer a wristwatch. Much more comfortable and easier to tell the time in a pubic public place.

Re: Ball Watch Company - Under Rated Brand?

Richtel, I absolutely love the look of your new Roadmaster. I like the way its case combines subtle curves with straight and angular sections. I also agree with Steve and your points also, especially in respect of the power and impact of strong marketing campaigns. The concept of owning a "pair...

Re: Ball Watch Company - Under Rated Brand?

That too looks great! I bet the night lume on that is fab, as it appears to have bigger gas tubes than mine. From what I can remember it's good but not outstanding. On the lume front, this image shows the same 3 watches as above in a nearly blacked out room. Certina DS Action Diver top, C...

Re: Ball Watch Company - Under Rated Brand?

Thanks for your comments folks. For me this is the only watch I have, that has tritium tube technology for night illumination, and that aspect alone has really impressed me.

Budman, if you do purchase the Roadmaster, do please provide an update with some photos etc. I will be very interested.

Ball Watch Company - Under Rated Brand?

Hello folks I very recently stumbled across this brand, and its American heritage really interested me, as did their watches. I took the plunge and bought their Engineer 3 Legend Automatic, 40mm case size, edition limited to 1000 pieces. Have any of you heard of, or tried this brand? Although this m...

Re: Certina DS PH200M Blue

Bizarrely i was just looking at them as well on Jura watches. £785, ETA automatic movement with 80 hours power reserve (allegedly) - pretty good value for money i think. I have the Certina DS Action Diver, and its 80 hour power reserve is a great feature. I think their watches offer superb value fo...
