Re: Delivery timescales

I asked the same Q - to be raised in the next CWL open session - the cognescenti on here suggest it only happens with PayPal purchases - but I'm not convinced ... Just for info, I have orders still showing as status processing almost year after delivery which were paid by card with no connection to...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 Issues

I hate to revive an old threat but I have some concerns. After reading through quite a few of these threads where people have returned watches that have clear QC issues, only for Christopher Ward to return them and basically say "everything looks good to us"....i'm scared to send my watch to them! ...

Re: C60 Apex #001/100

I wasn’t a massive fan of this on the blue strap and thought it looked a little gimmicky with this colour palate. I probably would like a more muted version with black, greys and white with brushed and polished surfaces. However, on the bracelet it offers more balance and looks so much better and t...

Re: Slight QC issue, need advice please

Hi guys, an update from me how this resolved: I opted for sending it back first and then reordering, because at that moment per their homepage they had a preorder wait of like 2 weeks and I didn't want to have over 2 grand in limbo somewhere. I wrote them an email stating the fault of the otherwise...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

Conclusion: After exchanging numerous emails and a after a long chat on the phone yesterday with Adrian Buchmann I have been assured that I will receive a full refund for the C65 GMT. A new replacement watch was offered but my confidence has been shaken, not only becuase of my own experience but be...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

If they pressure test the watch after manipulating it in any way it would mean that the condition in which it is tested may be different from the condition at the time the issue occurred. So I guess it goes back to the original state the watch was sent out in and what record of testing was done prio...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

What is going on in this thread? Between the members admonishing the OP for not knowing that he should soak his flooded watch in fresh water (apparently being a watch technician is now a requirement for ownership?), and the people crapping on him for using a divers watch (gasp!) in the ocean, I don...

To be fair, the image of the damaged watch as your profile pic deserves a refund, replacement or round of applause :D

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

I think expecting an exchange after a few months and wearing in the sea is not reasonable. Had you had a problem with the watch, identified it, not worn it, then yes. e.g. if it was a wet day and the watch arrived with condensation in it. So should we all dip our new CW divers watches into a bucket...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

It's good to hear from new members as we were all a new member at 1 time so welcome to the OP, UNIONmagazine. I've definitely said this before but it's a real shame that several recent first time posters only seem to write on here when a problem arises. So I'd like to understand why having looked i...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully someone on the forum with influence can advise. I guess that this is the first time that you have submerged the watch in any water and so it is the first time the watch can display the fault? Any wear to a bracelet would not impact the water resistance rating so their e...

Re: Slight QC issue, need advice please

Sorry to hear this. I'd contact customer service, explain the issue and they will send a returns pack - you will also be able to gauge their response and likely course of action. It will include a form asking you to select Refund, Replacement or Repair etc. State that you would like a replacement bu...

Re: Loupe #14 | Autumn 2019

Forums are great places for people to vent their spleen, make loose comments and reinforce the comments of others. This is not productive if the aim is to drive improvement because all it does is make those we really wish would sit up and take notice....ignore us. I learnt on coffee forums that the...
