Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000
I've only been about the forum for a short while but I'm pretty certain I'll be not be opting for a CW anytime soon. Well, I agree with you that it hasn’t been too positive on the forum lately, but that’s a little inherent to a forum where customers come to point out something is wrong, I truly lik...

Well before we go along the “I want my money” route haha, let’s give CW a chance to rectify this situation.

Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000
Wow overwhelming response on this, Yes I agree with all of you this is shoddy and poor quality, this shouldn’t happen on a 2 month old watch (received end of june) so I am going to contact CS about it and hear their response. As for the look, I too like the look of bare titanium over the painted He,...

Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000
Thanks for the replies guys! I’ll give the trophy shop a shot and if the paint comes off again I’ll let it be and get both off.
And maybe i’ll give CS a heads up about this, shouldn’t happen on a watch in this price range...
Have a great day all

Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000
Hmm had not thought of just taking it to a third party like a trophy shop or anything like that, probably going to do that. Shouldn’t take them long indeed.
Thanks.
Sending it in seems like a sluggish proces for something so small.

Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000
So after wearing my watch for a little more than a month the paint is comming off of the He valve. I don’t think that should happen on a watch in this price class, haven’t done anything special with it, only went on summer holiday which involved swimming in the sea. I guess the sea should be within ...

Re: Another Elite 1000 (mk3) arrived!
Hi guys, Just to give you an update after little more than a month of 24/7 wrist time, I still haven’t taken the watch off. It is an absolute pleasure to wear and the quality seems to be outstanding. Especially the strap is indestructible, it has showered with me every day and it still looks brand n...

Re: Another Elite 1000 (mk3) arrived!

Re: Can you remove the bezel on the tridents Mk3?
Hi guys, Yes definitely sand since it’s a fresh water lake, so no salt in there. But in the Netherlands we have clay grounds, and as some of you probably know clay consists of the smallest sand particles out there, and the water is full of it, you can see the sand floating in the water even at the m...

Re: Can you remove the bezel on the tridents Mk3?
thanks, after some reading have decided on keeping it on anyway, probably will be harsh to align it properly afterwards, and am afraid of marking the softer titanium

Re: Is this acceptable on a £1250 watch?
another Elite 1000 owner here. The rotational movement seems normal in the OP's video mine does that too, (maybe a bit less on mine but I got beach sand in there to stiffen things up  ) though the lateral movement from the bezel I see in the video is definitely not apparent on my watch, I can s...

Can you remove the bezel on the tridents Mk3?
Hi guys, After wearing my new elite for a week I can only say I love the watch! But ran into a problem the other day and was wondering if I can fix it myself with more ease than I had to do now. So took the watch out for a swim across the local lake here and when I returned back home and took a show...
