Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 - Accuracy

Firstly hello all, new to Christopher Ward and the forum. Ive been looking for a new watch for a while, Divers style, and keep coming back to the CW brand as it seems to have quite a loyal following and good reviews. I have a Seiko titanium at present which has proved a highly unreliable time keepe...

Nah, the movement is pretty solid

Nothing unusual about it

Re: C1 WorldTimer ....

A truely pristine Sept 2019 watch - bought in early 2020 as the second owner - checked it ran OK for some hours .... and yesterday decided to run it for a day or two. CW C1 WorldTimer.jpg Truely disappointed that its lost over 2 minutes in 24 hours ... I doubt its magnetised, as no others in the sa...

Oh man that's awful

What happened, did a clutch not disengage?

Re: How much winding to get an auto working well?

15-20 turns

Anything over 20 is overkill IMHO

Oris (exact same movement) actually only says to wind in 12 turns to get it going

Re: Spinning rotor syndrome

With as prevalent as this appears to be with CW lately, I am wondering if there was a bad batch of movements perhaps, or maybe some fault in their assembly process that did not lubricate these movements enough? I had this issue with a cheap(ish) Hamilton a while back, but it was because dirt and fo...

Befor my C60 I only bought Orients, Seikos and other sub 400€ watches, but never had movement issues.

Is it normal for a 1000€ watch?
It's the movement

ETA 2824/SW-200 can have it

Re: Mike France Interview with WatchPro

I can't say as I really liked the interview at all. I realise that WatchPro is a trade site, but I'm not sure what I expected. It felt like we, the loyal buyers and newcomers alike, were just unappreciated suckers, and he was only interested in devising strategies that would best separate us from o...

Re: Mike France Interview with WatchPro

* - We're (CW customers) not "classic brand ponies" but are "curious men" - lovely phrasing. And, I'm still in their age demographic for a few months. Did he really say that? He's said some daft things in his time, but considering many on here and CW owners generally, including me, will own CW and ...

Ohhh that's HARD

I'd personally go for the back/red color combination, however, of you already have a black diver maybe try for the Blue/orange

They're both great

Re: Selling on eBay for profit. . .

As long as CW's business model relies on having regular sales, then traders will obviously take full advantage to try and make a profit. The question will always remain, why would anyone ever pay full RRP for a Christopher Ward watch? The need it RIGHT NOW Only real reason I can see Sent from my SM...

Re: Selling on eBay for profit. . .

Where there's a margin people are going to take liberties. Fair play to them but it looks like a hassle to me. I'm of the opinion that they should be left alone. It's CWs fault that that can buy in a regular sale and profit for most of the year by undercutting the regular prices. Should CW maybe no...

Re: Mike France Interview with WatchPro

WatchPro is doing a good job with CEO interviews. Here are some things I picked up * - Due to be launching 2 x chronographs this week but no movements from Selitta. These will now launch later in the year. * - Something new coming this week but we all knew that. It's not going to be a chrono though...
