Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?
Seeing how the wording has altered over time anyway, could this simply be a case of CW just amending the statement as a periodic refresh, without fully thinking through the consequences of how it could be interpreted? This wouldn’t be the first time mistakes have been made in this respect and may a...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience
That's correct, Cheddar. I wound my C65 and my Speedmaster earlier this morning and after reading your post. Thanks for confirming, Amor. Tanned leather looks nice, really not a fan of Nato's at all - but that's just me. I do prefer the leather to the NATOs as well, but in the warm humid months her...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience
To answer my own question, I’ve done a bit of additional research, and evidently this is normal behavior for a number of hand-wind watches (including Speedmasters). It’s part of the click mechanism and helps keep the watch from being over-wound. My 2 previous hand-winders just haven’t had it so noti...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience
Question for other C65 diver owners (hand-wind)— when you’re winding, if you release the crown after a turn, does it turn back just a bit (~5 ridges in the crown or so)? Just wondering if it’s normal for this to happen when winding...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience
Guy— StrappedUp nailed it, that’s from CNS and is single pass. All four in the upper left corner are CNS. The two blue leather on the bottom row are Fossil (but were closeouts). The tan leather is a Gecko Horween (best feeling leather strap I own) and the darker leather is a Fluco snow calf. Single ...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience
Well, I took photos of my new-to-me blue C65 Trident diver on a variety of straps I already had and a few I ordered for it. It’s actually more versatile than I expected, although obviously we’re dealing mainly with various shades of blue and khaki. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190529/fb783a6d7...

Re: Non CW of the Day
Many beautiful watches in here...speaks to the good taste of Christopher Ward fans/owners...which also speaks to the value and quality of Christopher Ward (and also makes me want to spend $ I don’t have, haha).

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience
Appreciate the reviews, as I’m also considering the C65. And I also would be interest in seeing it on some different straps, as I like to change straps ot a bit.

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor
Had to do this repair with one of my 2824-based Hamilton watches. Easy enough to take apart and clean. Gets trickier to decide whether to get the required oils—before long you’re not saving much $. But worth it if you just want to DIY or have access to the oils. Noticed the other day though that the...
