Re: CWL of the day

IMG_6116.jpg That's the darkest tone of blue I've seen in any photos of the Elite. Is that purely down to the lighting conditions when you took it or did you do something on purpose? Personally I'd like it if it actually was that darker shade of blue or maybe even a slate or black with the orange (...

Re: CWL of the day

A few late afternoon shots, switching to the OEM strap, which I find to have varying degrees of comfort. Odd that :? :)

Sorry for the delay in reply. Yes, Guy hit the nail on the head. The stands were through "Obris Morgan".

Thank you.

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

#3 looks great now. The second hand is perfect. Don't need any red on that. Not sure you need any red on the dial text actually. I'd subdue the CW graphic at 12 to the original look on page 1. The dial is getting busy & you don't need the pronounced symmetry. It's distracting on a 4 hander. 42mm...

Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000

Well I must say it's very disappointing and shoddy work for a watch of this caliber. I'm wondering if these watches were rushed to market without rigorous testing. A lot of little niggles cropping up. Well, not really little. Lack of proper lubrication, this paint faux pas, movement issues when wind...

For those saying I'm already getting a "discount" by not paying VAT: That is not true. VAT is taxes paid to YOUR government for public services that benefit you. I shouldn't have to pay that because I'm not being benefited by that in any way For those saying I'm already getting the vouche...

Re: Another Elite 1000 (mk3) arrived!

Re: lume — I like to wear a dive watch to sleep in, so lume matters to me. On my Mk 3 pro, the lume definitely lasts all night, and I can make out the time without my glasses (despite my eyesight not being the best). This said, my Breitling Colt Chronograph is much brighter in lume, and equally lon...

Re: Another Elite 1000 (mk3) arrived!

Congrats on that beauty! Thanks for the great photos. Great to see owner photos and hear true evaluations. I too chose it for it's sportiness, among all the other strong attributes. Omega is utilizing the same color schemes with fitted colorful straps. I too compared the CW packaging to Apple Inc. G...

Re: C60 Trident Elite 1000 (mk3) - thoughts after a week

A few more pictures that I have posted in the the daily thread as well. Under water pic: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190613/9dbde59c85e5066d5dbdc5202915134e.jpg Regarding the strap: I ordered the blue rubber strap from CW, I know that’s much more comfortable. Got it yesterday, the blue dies ...

Re: C60 Trident Elite 1000 (mk3) - thoughts after a week

Would love to see more pics and commentary on this watch! Where's everybody hiding? I assume a few of these made it into the wild by now? I'm actually waiting on one. Bummer about the strap. Thanks RD When did you order yours? I ordered one about 10 days after release, by which time the initial sto...

[/quote] They’re good watches for the money. You just better hope and pray you won’t need to return it to them for any reason.
