Re: What WAS I thinking of?

That's an elegant watch; simple but classic. Why oh why didn't CW stick with that badge at the 12 position, I think it's a nice bit of design. The 'London' seems a bit ancillary. But, I think that's definitely a watch work keeping, particularly as you have played catch and release once before...

Wow...again, great photos, thanks for sharing. For my money this is the best diver that CW offers, very unique. I love the way the Ombre- finish dial descends in to darkness towards its outer edge.

Re: C60 Trident Ombre COSC LE

Here's mine. I love it, get comments all the time on its appearance. 20200321_095403.jpg Wow...what an outstanding photo, and a gorgeous watch, too. I'm getting quite a compulsion to buy one of these, just think I'll hang it out for a really good offer to appear <15% would be nice. Do you know if y...

Re: A tale of two dive watches - a member’s personal review

First off, enjoyed reading the comparison, thanks for putting it together. Two lovely watches, too. For me, has to be the Sub. I just think it is the template for the ultimate dive/tool watch. The deep castellated bezel and crown guard are key features for me. It really is impossible to find anythin...

Re: Bahnstormer_vRS - CWs (plus) and Other Brands - August 2019

Woah... Never seen anything like that! If there is a collective noun for watches, when they reach your number, it should be a 'proliferation'. No...'murmuration' is better, a better visual image, me thinks. It doesn't look like you do anything approaching small(ish); and heaven's forbid, dress. In t...

Re: C60 Trident Ombre COSC LE

Morning all... I was hopeful that my OP might bring in some replies of this watch over the weekend, but it appears not. There doesn't appear to be any photos in the CW gallery, which was updated little over a week ago. I think it's a lovely looking watch with much to admire. It would have been nice...

Re: C60 Trident Ombre COSC LE

I have this one, not my most frequent wearer but I like it. Apologies for the wonky pic Thanks for the photo, Chris, that's a brilliant shot, really. The CW logo and placement has always been something of an issue for me, but I find it seems to blend in to the dial with this watch. I love the way t...

Re: CW's first TV Advert

'Ingeniously English, reassuringly Swiss' might've been a better strapline...

Interesting that they went with this sapphire number for their first TV advert, The watch could be a little niche for a lot of tastes. Still, it certainly has a visual presence, the watch that is.

Re: C60 Trident Ombre COSC LE

I ordered a nearly new one and really liked it, great matt grey finish on the ceramic bezel, but in the end returned it only because I managed to pick up an Oris Divers 65 shortly after at a really good price and couldn't afford to keep both. Had a few other photos but annoyingly deleted them a few...

C60 Trident Ombre COSC LE

Hi there forum peeps, I've just been looking through the CW website for the first time in a long time, and I came across the watch in the subject header. I was quite taken by it in truth, (steel case, black and silver etched dial) and have a few questions that you good people may be able to help me ...

Re: How Have Your Tastes Changed

Not sure they really have... 1. I've always been drawn to brands that are not ubiquitous, be they cheap or expensive. 2. I like Bigger dials now, 40-43mm. Much of this is precipitated by my ailing eyesight, 36mm would be invisible. 3. I continue to enjoy bezels and pushers. 4. Currently I have desir...

Re: C60 lightweight

^^ ^^ It's funny how many people get caught up in this whole water resistance issue. Like the more the atm's or bar, the more superpowers it bestows on its wearer. Many of the buyers of these watches won't even wear them in the shower. The greatest diving pleasure occurs in the first ten meters of w...
