Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

Really like the Nomos offering, have looked at it on their site. More taken by the in-house movement than anything, that and the overall finishing. Although it has 1000ft (as Nomos like to point out) of water resistance, how can it be a dive watch without a method of measuring elapsed time? It's a v...

Re: Heavy-weight loss

Apparently, Joshua had a panick attack in the dressing room pre-fight, He's Dad asked Hearn to pull him out. Also he was rumoured to have been knocked out in sparring, and he's Dad wanted him pulled out then too. That would explain some of what went on in the ring, hopefully he can bounce back, and...

Re: Heavy-weight loss

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Once Ruiz buzzed AJ with the temple shot in the 3rd round he wasn't the same after. AJ needs to change his style big time, he's huge, work the reach and jab. Supposed to be an immediate rematch. He's going to have to fighter smarter and harder. Sent from my Pix...

Fifty post milestone

Well, as the title suggests, this post will allow me access to the buying and selling corner of the forum. I have to admit that it has been a corner that I always cast an eye over. Some lovely watches come up for sale at great prices, CW or otherwise. I have also found that the forum is a fountain o...

Re: Heavy-weight loss

Ha, ha, ha... I saw this too. Really doesn't look like anything approaching an athlete but, bizarrely, has a good engine despite his shape. It's gonna be interesting to read the sports pages tomorrow.

Heavy-weight loss

I see there has been a bit of banter on the forum regarding the CL final. But what of the loss of Anthony Joshua, and the relinquishing of his titles? Personally I like the guy. He has been a good ambassador for his sport, as well as helping with the resurgence in the interest in boxing as a whole. ...

Re: The

. . . . And, btw, does anyone have a figure for how many watches CW manufactures a year, it'd be interesting to know? Figure often mentioned is around 20,000 pieces per annum. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Thanks for that, Guy. It's just interesting to have a ball park figure. :...

Re: The "I've never seen a stranger wearing a CW" thread

Just to clarify - I never said the number of luxury watches seen in the streets or at places of work was "ALL about location". The number of high-end watches I used to see in London was because they were worn in the financial institutions (and the car dealers) in the 2 main financial areas, i.e Cit...

Re: The "I've never seen a stranger wearing a CW" thread

Just saw this thread and I thought I'd throw my pennies worth in. I'm often glancing at men's wrists to see what they might be wearing. As a watch enthusiast, you think that every other male wrist is going to be sporting a watch of note. This does not appear to be the case. I thought every other ma...

Bank Bronze Holiday Monday.

Now that's really nice, a lot nicer than the previous model. Loving that graduated dial. Tudor are really doing some nice pieces.

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 Dial Marks

Well...I'm getting old now, and the eyes aren't what they once were, but I'm struggling to see scratches on the dial. I'm sure if there are any they are much more visible when holding the watch in hand and tilting it. What about the fine lines on the bezel at the 12/13min mark; are they just filamen...

...and if you just want a well made, nylon, water-resistant strap with bright contrast stitching, then these look good. I also think they would work equally well in a casual or more formal setting.

Re: MKSnato sailcloth straps

I've bought a very similar strap from iwantastrap.com. Price is virtually identical, the straps are 110 x 75 so very fractionally shorter than the mksnato ones. The quality is excellent too. https://www.iwantastrap.com/collections/all Indeed, looks like a very similar strap, even down to the contra...
