Re: New C65 Trident Vintage Mk II

Unfortunately still with the same font/positioning of the brand name... another missed chance after so many changes in the past.

I would treat NN as mostly customer returns.
That was my guess, too - customer returns might end up in the NN section.
(I don't think that's a bad decision, quite the contrary!)

Re: Nearly New watches onsite 2

as far as I have read: no, the discount code does not work on clearance/nearlynew/... only on regular priced items; true?

Re: c65 diver bidirectional bezel possible?

Why? I don't dive, but I use the bezel quite often to keep track of time - cooking, meetings, tasks,... And it's a bit bothersome when I have to turn the bezel almost 360° so often when a quick turn the other way round could to the trick (and I prefer a silent turn during meetings or when giving a l...

Re: c65 diver bidirectional bezel possible?

Honestly I don't expect CW doing such a thing, but rather myself or my watchmaker.
Quite often you can just pop off the bezel, remove some prongs or straighten some hooks and put back the bezel.
It would just be nice to know, if anyone has experience with a C65...

But thank you for answering!

c65 diver bidirectional bezel possible?

Hi,
I'm about to get one of the c65 Diver watches.
Is it possible to convert the unidirectional bezel to a bidirectional bezel?
Best,
Michael

Re: What would you like to see next?

Right now I'm missing a decent dress diver/sportswatch on the market (similar to the older Eterna 1856 Kontiki Diver, Zenith Rainbow Elite Diver, Oris Artix GT Date (not DayDate)...) 38-39mm diameter 8-9mm height thin (bidirectional) bezel most stuff nowadays is rather humonguous instead of decent l...

Re: Possible Trident MKII 43mm to Trident MKIII 42mm case swap?

interesting question.
What's the message any manufacturer would send with such a job?
most likely: "we acknowledge that our new model is (except for one feature) inferior to the predecessor"
not a sensible thing to do...

Would anyone else trade a few hundred metres water resistance for a thinner case?
absolutely yes.
I love my Eterna 1856 KonTiki with 200m and 8.5mm. Right now I don't feel like needing a watch with 1.5x thickness...

Re: MK3 Trident Colour Combo s

A blue dial with black bezel would have been nice.
Or just any mix'n'match possibility...

I think it looks rather fantastic in those official shots
that's what official shots are meant for :)

I'm rather pleasantly surprised, but unfortunately the blue seems to pop too much for my taste (plus the awkward placing of the name is still a huge turnoff). Also waiting for real life shots...

Re: How a Micro Brand changed the Dive watch market

For me both brandname positioning and handset are quite a turnoff, because the watch feels unbalanced; what a pity that the onion shape has gone - that was quite unique. My guess: the handset comments will dominate ;)

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

Well, I hope that all these teasers are still just from pre-production models. There are quite a few quirks that don't seem so nicely finished. I guess we'll see soon...
