Re: What WAS I thinking of?

Wow.
Those were the times when CW still knew how to place and design a brand name so that it looks good.
Keep it :)

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release

interesting, but a rather boring movement for such a view.
at least it's a great size. If only CW could start making thinner watches! Then I would start buying again (oh yes, and the logo, of course, plus the hour hand...)

Re: C60 MK3. what would you change ?

absolutely great case, good colors/variations and nice sizes. Those are keepers. But: - sorry for being blunt: name positioning and font is downright ugly and unbalances the dial massively. - the hands show the strain for being different at all costs, but it's not a pleasant sight for me (shape of t...

Re: Small, light, cheap watch for leather/nato

Definitely the Hamilton...
There's hardly a better watch for little money. Great diameter, many variations, good on leather or nylon.

Re: Suggestions on purchase

there are quite a lot of such watches around.
I would always go with the classic: Hamilton Khaki Field, for me it's the "Officer" version with date window, pre 2018

Re: When was the last time you used your timer on your wrist trinket

on a chronograph: about 35 years ago, then got rid of all chronographs because I never used them (and so there was no need for their cluttered design)
bezel: this morning for making tea

Unfortunately still with the same font/positioning of the brand name... another missed chance after so many changes in the past.

I would treat NN as mostly customer returns.
That was my guess, too - customer returns might end up in the NN section.
(I don't think that's a bad decision, quite the contrary!)

Re: c65 diver bidirectional bezel possible?

Why? I don't dive, but I use the bezel quite often to keep track of time - cooking, meetings, tasks,... And it's a bit bothersome when I have to turn the bezel almost 360° so often when a quick turn the other way round could to the trick (and I prefer a silent turn during meetings or when giving a l...

Re: c65 diver bidirectional bezel possible?

Honestly I don't expect CW doing such a thing, but rather myself or my watchmaker.
Quite often you can just pop off the bezel, remove some prongs or straighten some hooks and put back the bezel.
It would just be nice to know, if anyone has experience with a C65...

But thank you for answering!
