No doubt the CW Christmas party was more lavish than ever!
Interestingly (for me at least) is that 'er in doors has always been a bit meh on my CW's yet would have been quite happy for me to buy a purple Bel Canto regardless of the price.
Currently one on Chrono24 for $11000 US.

Re: What do you want to see in '23?
So an Aussie has to do this because we get the New Year first :) 3. A proper (slim) dress watch. They're coming back, they're in CW's founding DNA and not in the current catalogue. Moonglow lovely but thin it aint. What would YOU like to see? Given what they have pulled out of the bag recently with...

Re: Logo only on some existing CW models.
I can see why they want just the twin flags and I suspect they want (read MF) to ditch the name altogether but then they are proper stuffed as the company will not have a name at all. Exactly, the problem with a logo is that it is just that, a logo, which, simplistically, is a visual back up of a c...

Re: CW Marketing spend
Looking at the current range it is a bit of a branding mess, flags on new models , Christopher Ward on older ones, personally I think the name looks. better. The flags may, one day, reach critical mass in terms of brand awareness but it will be a long road I suspect 'the artist formally know as prin...

Re: Christopher Ward about to rebrand as......
Why not just 'Ward' ? Would be easy to fit on a dial and takes a step away from Chris, not sure the twin flags cut it on their own in a brand based market place.
Then when they bring out in-house chronometer master pieces they can call them 'TimeWard'

Re: C63 Sapphire GMT COSC LE
I haven’t tried a C63 GMT on, but a thin bezel does generally help it to wear larger. Fantastic watch. Call me a bluff old traditionalist, but I’m really glad that I have the version with the solid black dial. The sapphire dial is not my thing. You are a bluff old traditionalist. :D I’m not a fan o...

Re: January 2022 Sale
But you're right, I still like the Mk3 regardless of what happens so I'll wait a bit to see if there's any January sale in 2022 and maybe I'll be quick enough to snag one at a discount. If not, I'll probably have to think about it some more because the 39mm C63 GMT in black is also really nice and ...

Re: UPDATE: Should I sell my stuck C60 600 Pro COSC SH21 Red Bezel 1 of 32 - 60/60 Guarantee denied at 5th Year
I'm trying to figure out how to phrase myself when replying back to the head of Christopher Ward's customer service department, since my emails to Mike France went nowhere in comparison. Apart from the obvious poor form of trying to avoid their responsibility under what is a 5 year guarantee, you M...

Re: C60 Concept
Given that the sale of all 210 units will generate under a €1,000,000. Once you take the development costs, materials, labour (general watchmaking and specialist), advertising etc, I see this as being more a labour of love than a cash cow for CW. It's perhaps a chance to show how far they've come a...

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
Looking at the new blue again, how close do you think the blue is to the blue, on the original blue bronze watch? Is it the same or darker? Try this: https://www.christopherward.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-cwnet-Site/en_GB/Compare-Show?pid0=C60-40ADA3-B00B0-VT&pid1=C63-39AGM3-S00B0-VC&pid...

Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
No new colors for the C63 elite yet :( This blue fits in with the collection, but isn't anything too exciting. I agree, I would like to see a brighter elite. I like the blue GMT but it hasn't swayed me as I thought it would, a lack of a bracelet option is deal breaker anyway, no doubt will appear a...

Re: February '21 - Strap Sale
Missed out on this and now the link doesn't work :( Do you know if they are going to re-issue the page? Just a load of guesswork going on. My guess is that they’ll fix the issue and rerun the sale. They will still have a bunch on NN straps to sell on. ...guess it's just a case of reloadin...

Have a look through this, It has some interesting views/information.

The Dartmouth would be on my radar if it had a screw down crown, nice watch though.
