Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services

I feel there is an issue with their email system. I submitted a form to do a return under 60/60 and called 3 days later to ask why I had not heard back. They said they did email me within a day of me submitting the form. Apologised and said email requesting details would go out again in a minute. Di...

My bezel is perfectly lined up but there is a little play, never bothered me, but then all my watches have that.

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Only if it’s a random / representative sample :-) which the forum is absolutely not. When things go wrong people come to the forum to look for help. It’s a self-selecting sample that is highly biased. Doesn’t take away from the terrible customer experience through, clearly that still needs to be res...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Well this made me laugh. How is a forum admin supposed to solve CS issues?!? That’s nuts. It’s bad enough people are getting the showroom manager involved. Blaming “fanboys” and the admin team is just silly. They are a bunch of enthusiasts trying to discuss their hobby with likeminded people in thei...

Re: Review of Trident Elite 1000 LE by Fratello

I do not like the blue hybrid on Elite. Too much blue. On the other hand I find that the orange and blue together work great! That said I am a little biased as I have been wearing it for the last few weeks :-) But what in waiting for is the titanium bracelet that should launch in about a month or so...

Re: Impatient buyer here, so do I get a track and trace email?

Strange. Standard e-commerce practice on to do what’s called a pre-authorization when an order gets placed to make sure the credit card has enough funds. But then only charge / collect the funds when the item gets shipped, or at the earliest when the logistics process has started to ship - like putt...

^^^^^ That's an absolutely amazing watch Guy - CW at their best! And one nice way for you to remember Sue. Cheers Dean. [emoji106] Hopefully, I'll have another nice way to remember Sue by shortly. Guy Didn't have long to wait, just a matter of popping out to the village Post Office to collec...

They probably authorized the card but haven’t charged it yet. Authorizations will show up as “pending charges” in most banking apps on a credit card. They charge when they ship.

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

I have to disagree that is reasonable when other manufacturers do not require a service for their 5 year warranty to apply, though of course they have service recommendations. I draw the conclusion from 5 year guarantees becoming more commonplace that service intervals can comfortably exceed that f...

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

My thought on this: * No problem for me that they require the watch to be serviced for the full 60 months warranty to apply. Seems reasonable. * Requiring a service every 3 years seems too frequent. 4 years is OK. 5 would be better. :-) * CW need to clarify immediately when they want this service do...

Re: CWL of the day

Yep, hats off to that man because I can't bring myself to use my mk2 for diving, too nice to bash on nasty rusty wrecks and what have you. A cheapo Seiko diver is good enough to back up the computer but still nice enough for the bar. Don’t mind a few scratches or dings. But I can understand why you...
