Re: The Design DNA of Christopher Ward

Personally, I would love to see just the flags emblem on the dials. Think of Nike, Apple, Mercedes-Benz. I find CW over-brand many of their watches. One example is the C60 Trident Pro 600: flags and CW wordmark on dial, trident logo on seconds hand, flags on crown, trident logo and trident wordmark...

Re: How do I upload a profile picture

On the subject of Avatars, @amorvincitomnia have you walked the Camino de Santiago? I have. Did the Francés from St Jean in 2011. Are you a Peregrino? I did it with my wife and kids During the holidays over three summers. We did the Finisterre Camino too the year before last. Happy memories. Thanks...

Re: Return of an old favourite

Great thread guys, I am fascinated by this discussion on the impact of magnetism and xrays. As a doctor I am frequently around string magnetic fields particularly when working with MRI. When looking for the best watch to combat this, I turned first to the Rolex Milguass as it is marketed as anti-mag...

Alligator straps

Hi all, After picking up my new Malvern 595 (thanks @jaspercat), I now Have two CW dress watches (the mark 3 C5 is the other one). As they are both on black leather straps, I’m thinking I would like to bling one up a bit with a nice alligator strap? Does anyone have a recommendation on where to sour...

Re: What would I like CW to Design next?

This! in 38mm, the modern C65, a bit of an old idea as the original C65 was simply the C65 without a rotating bezel, but with virtually zero development cost it would be a winner. I’d love to see this watch but also a vintage inspired 38mm with a bezel too. Something like a CW interpretation of a T...

Re: Compressor in the wild!

When I First saw the compressor in the magazine I thought it would be very controversial watch. For me it is just too out there and trying to be too overtly masculine. However in the photos posted on this thread on a real wrist It looks less bling than I thought. Much the same as the new Marines wat...

Re: New Malvern 595

Thanks again for the heads up. I am pleased to report that I have managed to get myself a 595 in mint condition from one of the fantastic members of the forum. Thank you @jaspercat. It was so much easier and more efficient than buying a nearly new watch from the CW website.

Re: C65 battle: Trident vintage vs Sandhurst

I agree with you all on the plus points of the trident but would like to add a plus for the Sandhurst. I like the CW Logo back in the more traditional 12 position. I think it gives it a nice symmetry.
