Re: What would you like to see next?

If anyone is interested, another "customizable" watch. https://www.ablogtowatch.com/bespoke-wa ... ble-bezel/
No comments here about the watch, just saying, it can be done.

Yes sir, that is a real looker. These gradiant dials are killer, and this, with the matching bezel, very nice.

Re: New diver from Glashütte

As a big fan of Sinn, I would say yes to your question. Pretty sure all Glashutte's use an in house movement. We could talk a long time as to whether it is worth the 7000 euros mentioned. Not to take away from the overall quality of the German movement, but it also partly depends on how much one is ...

Re: What would you like to see next?

How about something no manufacturer has ever done. A whole dept comitted to building a fully customizable watch. Would have to be done at a premium price, but the possibilities are endless. We probably dont want to think of wait times. You might come 'Undone' with that concept. Guy Sent from...

Re: What would you like to see next?

Still waiting on the perfect (for me) Trident Pro 600: 40mm mk3 case, blue or white wave dial, onion hands, ceramic bezel, new logo at nine with flag logo at 12. How about something no manufacturer has ever done. A whole dept comitted to building a fully customizable watch. Would have to be done at...

Re: New diver from Glashütte

Yes, good job on the window. I don't mind dates at 4-4:30, but, and this is a personal opinion, the numbers laid over on their sides is like nails on a chalkboard. I know CW has done this in the past, gladly, no more. Even worse, when like Omega, a trapezoidal shaped window is used.

Re: Are import duties still an issue?

Update: dispute finalized, final import duties: $22. Yeah, that's much better lol Great result. It's unfortunate you had to go through the time and stress to ensure you paid the proper amount. I received an email from CW's head of logistics Sammy Benson yesterday, saying he was still in dialogue wi...

Re: Erika’s original

I've been pleased with my recent purchase from Watch Steward. If it were just a bit shorter, I could wear it as a single pass nato. Nice elastic, very comfortable, maybe not as convenient as he is on the wrong side of the pond for those in the UK.

Re: Yes, You Must Pay Duties And Taxes....

I have been considering talking a picture of the receipt with my phone, which will have a date stamp, and using that as proof of previous ownership. Of course this would not prove I wasn't taking the piece into another country to sell. Any thoughts?

Re: Non CW of the Day

Not knocking the citizen mind you, but a houseful of 8 year old girls?? May require something more along these lines. 20190519_081456.jpg Good luck! Thanks. It all went swimmingly – only two melt downs, one bruised head and the cat slept through the whole thing https://live.staticflickr...
