Decent Service From CW

It seems as if CW services have been taking a bit of abuse recently so I thought I’d balance the subject a bit. I bought myself a C65 Trident Diver Auto a while back, just after Christmas if I recall correctly. It performed impeccably and I enjoyed wearing it for several months, but then noticed a p...

Re: Straps for CW C60 Trident 43mm

Summer is perfect for NATO style straps - light, breathable, VERY cheap and washable if they become too “fragrant”. Pretty much any colour combination is available from Amazon, eBay....

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

Spotted 3 today!
At Helmingham Hall car festival I spotted two C7 Rapide models (one green, one black) and an older model, possibly a Malvern?
First time spotting a CW in the wild. Not really surprised by spotting a motorsport model at this type of even though.

Re: Anyone else daydream about a bespoke CW?

I’ve had one design rattling about in my head for a while... Bronze Trident C60 600 case (MKII type) with the matte black dial, hands and bezel insert from the C60 600 Vintage version. Bezel edge would have to be stainless, but that would still look great. 38mm size for me of course. I did approach ...

Re: New arrival. C65 Trident Diver Blue

Grey choice, they doo look lovely in the blue. I take my hat off to you regarding the logic in choice over date/no date and “blob” hour markers, I can never be so clinical in choice!

Enjoy it and wear with pride,

Re: how fast/slow is your trident MK3 running?

Mine averages about +3sec a day. When I wear it I usually put it on at about 06:00 and then wear it through the day until about 21:00. I like to be watch-free for a while before hitting the hay... during that time it usually runs to about +4sec for an average day at the office. I have found though t...

That’s some serious art-work, hats off to you!
It’s not my cup of tea, I’m more than happy with my original, steel bezel version, but I’m sure others will be interested.

Re: Trident gaining 10 to 12 seconds....

The Sellita movement is specified as to be accurate to +/-20sec a day, as mentioned above. Also, as mentioned above, they usually do way better than this. Mine runs to a net of about +3sec whenever I wear it regularly. By “regularly” I mean for 14-16hr a day and that is for either a work day or a we...

Re: New C65 Trident Vintage Mk II

So, it seems like mine in on pre-order... My other half and I have our anniversary coming up and she has finally taken my horological hints! I was thinking of the original version so can’t wait to see how the Light-Catcher case works with this new design. I also like the look of the other changes/up...

Re: Time to Rotate

Pretty slick :-) I heard words of caution about leaving auto watches on a winder long-term. I have taken some advice and use mine on a timer plug so it runs on and off during the day (8:00am to 9:00pm) and then rests the watches over night. That replicates my usual watch wearing habits and seems to ...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience

I have both. In fact, I have the GMT, and both versions of the Diver (auto and manual). I find that all three are exceptional watches, especially for the price I paid. The GMT I find wears more dressy than the other two, especially as I prefer to keep it on the bracelet, but both divers fill the “ca...
