Re: C60 Trident date setting problem

I’d send it back to the seller and go for the full refund, unless you got an ABSOLUTE bargain. I understand that CW workshops are currently not accepting repairs (forgive me if this has changed since Monday’s briefing) so any return and repair will likely require many months of patient waiting. Unde...

Re: CWL of the day

Gone back to the Bund strap for this one today.

I’ve tried it on a few NATO options recently, love the comfort these give but prefer the visual look of the Bund :-)

Keep safe everyone,

Workshop Still Offering Great Service

I have just had my beautiful C50 Malvern COSC watch returned from CW workshops after a service/regulation and I am delighted! I bought the watch just into the New Year as I was looking for something different and special. I fell in love straight away, but also noted that it’s timekeeping was driftin...

Re: Repair Question

My C65 GMT is also utterly silent when hand winding. Even with it up against my ear, I can hear nothing and I was advised (on a visit to CW Towers showroom to pick the watch up) that this was thanks to it having the ETA version of the movement. Apparently, the ETA is just that bit more quiet than th...

Trying a rather different look on my Sandhurst today - khaki NATO/Zulu with the heavy duty buckle option.

Re: Dartmouth running slow

I guess it depends how keen you are to keep this exact watch, or can you cope with another example of the same model? Also, how “new” is it? Has it been unwrapped, has it been worn, and does it show any signs of this? Would it be in good enough condition to be considered for a return for refund? Whe...

“Everything will become clear”?
Clear (display) case back, yes. But everything?
Perhaps a semi-transparent dial, a skeleton dial?

Re: C65 Dartmouth Series 1

This is my very rare colour option - patina/sand coloured lume but white print in the bezel. IMHO a great look for this watch.

Re: Shades of Green

Looks beautiful!
It always staggers me how manufactures pick these colours and textures to mess with the ambient light, and how their look changes :-)

Wear and enjoy is what I say.

Re: What to get?

Do you really mind how many watches of a particular brand you have? I have six CW models in my collection and I enjoy each one for its own merits. Each gets its own fair share of wrist time, depending on situation and activity, and I don’t really see myself wanting to lose any of them from my watch ...

I hope that SD wasn’t Sports Direct
Given the context I think he means Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Thanks, my apologies. After rereading, it makes sense to be Special Delivery.
I don’t get it. I meant South Devon.
Sorry for the confusion ;-)
