Re: MK1 C60 forced patina bezel.

Nice work, how did you accomplish that effect?

For me I go in either of two directions - keep my watches prestige, immaculate and as good as new, or wear them, beat them and love every mark and blemish the pick up along the way. A bit of forced patina cal always help with the latter.

Re: Trident Chronograph Quartz

It’s footprint on your wrist looks fine in my eyes. For me, I look for the combination of bezel diameter, paired with lug length as my primary measurement references. My wrist is a smidge smaller than yours but I feel happy wearing the 41mm C65 range because they have a relatively small lug-to-lug m...

Re: CWL of the day

@Bahnstormer_vRS Oh no, the bund is still very much intact; it was made as one complete, fully sewn item so dismantling it would mean slicing the stitching and be utter sacrilege! No, today I just swapped the bund for a more traditional, vintage strap. I love the bund, I love the watch, but it is al...

Re: C65 GMT Worldtimer

I’m quite liking it. It’s amazing how a small change to the baton markers, subtle changes to the fonts used and a bit of colour swap make the whole watch appear so much more retro; true 60s styling. Is it me, or does the case/lug area also look a bit more cushion in geometry too? I think the screw d...

Interesting looking strap you have there. Where did it come from and any chance of a full shot?

Re: CWL of the day

Back to this wee beauty on its 1969 Swiss ammo pouch leather strap for a day of isolation. When you’re locked in at home it is good to have COSC certified timekeeping. Well, that is my excuse... 1E1A4884-9B20-49C9-BB1E-D732AB7A3E29.jpeg The book was also great. A friend suggested it so I read it wit...

Re: CWL of the day

The positive side of having to spend so much time at home is getting the time to try all my collection and re-bond with some less frequently worn members. This one has taken a bit of a back seat recently, time to get to enjoy both it and its custom bund strap again 3EC1AC8B-573E-40F9-A5E0-9BC2661F4...

Re: CWL of the day

This was with me most of the day 2E1D9F7B-3A02-44FD-AF09-6095A014CD18.jpeg Got a new, custom strap for it - Sedgwick bridle leather in a Whisky colour. Apparently this leather is now in extremely short supply (at least in the thinner weights suitable for watch straps) so I was lucky to get this one ...

Re: C65 Trident Bronze Ombré in the Spring sunshine

Oh, do please stop teasing!
I have one of these on my radar for ages, but always seem to miss out whenever they come up on CW’s clearance offers.
Lovely watch, I hope you get as much pleasure from it as you currently seem to be doing.

Re: CWL of the day

I’ve had this one on the wrist pretty much constantly for the last week or so.

The strap has bedded in beautifully and is already starting to get a bit of patina developing on it. It’s turning into a great look :-)

It’s a great watch that is for sure. Perfect size, good looks and more than decent performance. CW has really upped their game and quality with some of their recent releases. Keep it up!
Enjoy!

A bronze sort of day...... IMG_20200319_130517.jpg
We don’t see enough bronze on here, IMHO. Beautiful material and I’m still looking to add one to my collection.
Great pic by the way.
