Re: I must be in my dotage, or perhaps in some way ill...

@smegwina
Well, 15 hours is probably a bit over the top. It’s a bit more like ten mins...
And, I’ve rarely worn ANY of my watches “Just as God intended” in public. Last time I tried I got some undesired attention from our Boys in Blue for indecent exposure ;-)

Re: New Arrival Incoming!

Latest update - still no sign.
I need to wait until the end of the week, then they will officially log it.
Fingers crossed for a re-find and delivery

Re: C65 Trident Diver Automatic

Love the “blobs”.
I have battons on my C65 GMT, would be nice to have something similar, but subtly different.
Add that to the wish list, along with the Trident 3...

Re: I must be in my dotage, or perhaps in some way ill...

I do like the feel and comfort of a NATO, not to mention the massive array of colours. However, as mentioned earlier, the double thickness of fabric under the watch can certainly make it ride too high for a cuff, feel top-heavy and the excess fabric to wrap around can be a pain... So, I have chopped...

Re: Edinburgh GTG - Chat with Chris - Saturday 19th January 2019

I’m part way through watching the YouTube link and am very interested by the Trident 3 - potentially a more sculpted case design like the C65, but as robust as a C60 and with exceptional lume, that’s got to be a winner! My only prayer is that they have a choice in case sizes as they do now with som...

Re: New Canvas Strap for Glycine Airman Twelve..

Great combo, might well suit some of the blue dial CWs too?
May I ask how much you paid for the watch itself? I’ve hit your links and the eBay listing indicates the seller is selling the watch at a massive reduction - originally over $1600 but now down to under $400?

Re: January Sale 2019

Ok, so not in the official “January Sale”, but I did order a colourful little number from the clearance section early last week. No issues with PayPal or dispatch as far as I am aware, phone conversations with CW and emails to confirm the order all seem perfect and confirmed everything I needed to k...

Re: Rapide Chrono

True, some chronos are overly “busy” but that is partly the nature of the beast I think. Sure, contrasting dial colours can add to the issue but I must say that I’ve never had a huge issue with the ones I’ve owned. I only wear my current Chrono when I specifically need the functions it offers and I ...

Re: A Trio of Rapides

Lovely looking watches! I especially appreciate the added colour and how the design of the lugs will help these to stand out from the crowd. The blue/orange one really catches my eye, I can see it as a great “summer” watch for when I want a splash of colour on my wrist. Hope you enjoy them, I’ll be ...

Re: New Arrival Incoming!

But, alas, a happy delivery unboxing is now not to be. It seems as if CW’s courier of choice, DPD have officially “lost” my lovely new watch. That’s now four deliveries in a row to me that DPD have managed to mess up in one way or another! I guess I’ll have to wait until they re-discover it, or clai...

Re: New Arrival Incoming!

Well, I will admit that “puppy” is probably misleading. He’s fifteen, mostly blind and pretty much deaf. It turns out though that while his sense of smell is just fine, his digestive system seems to have reacted badly to the small, fury and very dead thing he managed to sniff out on his evening walk...

New Arrival Incoming!

My first thread start, please treat me gently! Thanks to a rather sick puppy the other evening I was forced into a night of very little sleep. To occupy myself I took to window shopping on-line and noticed that the CW site’s “Clearance” section had been restocked. Oh, happy days! One model jumped ou...

Re: C65 Trident Diver: 2 Questions

I can confirm “Yes” to both questions. I own both the models you are asking about and the box sapphire crystals do have that hint of blue in them if you catch the light correctly. The AR coating is pretty decent, in my humble opinion, and I actually quite like the blue tint whenever I catch sight of...

Re: 40mm Trident. Could it be true?

40mm could be a very popular size, I’d certainly be happy with one. I wonder what size strap it would be - 20mm might look too slender; 22mm might look too chunky? But I guess that comes down to a combination of lug geometry and strap taper too? The 20mm option seems more these days so I’m betting o...
