Re: MotorSport Genre

Re: CW web site down

Website is working fast and smooth for me (21:10 UK time).

However, I also notice that a few more watches have been listed in the “Nearly New” section. I hate to think how many I missed while it was down!

My bank manger is delighted it went down.

Re: Selita vs seiko winding difference

Ditto. I have several ETA/Sellita movements in my CW watches as well as 7S26, NH36 and 6R35 movements in my Seiko collection. Seiko do seem to wind easier compared to Sellita movements. Saying that though, my Seikos seem to need almost twice the number of turns of the crown before I feel than to rea...

Re: CW Repair Shop up & running now - it seems ?

Sorry to hear of your delays. I must say that it is very different from the recent service I got on a repair. Do CW have a US based repair shop, or do you send watches back to the U.K. for repair/service? I sent my CW Malvern back the Maidenhead in early February. At the time I was quoted 8-10 weeks...

Re: To Wind Watch or Watch Winder

I have a winder and keep all my automatic movement watches in it. Ot can keep up to six winding at any one time. However, I also have a timer plug that runs it. I have set the winder to run full time, bit I have set the timer plug to only power the winder up every so often. It therefore actively win...

Re: pre ordered me a black dartmouth

Ordered mine a while back, when they first came out in fact. Unfortunately I do not know when the current stock will be back in, but CW are usually pretty slick at turning them around once they get delivery. Mine is a real gem. It will never be sold and I’m sure you will be delighted with your one w...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 - Accuracy

Hello, and welcome to the forum. The +/-20sec is the deviation that the movement manufacturer states, and probably a “worst case” scenario. If your timekeeping falls outside this range then you have the right to return the watch for a free regulation under CW’s 60/60 warranty. As far as I know, CW d...

Re: C60 Trident date setting problem

I’d send it back to the seller and go for the full refund, unless you got an ABSOLUTE bargain. I understand that CW workshops are currently not accepting repairs (forgive me if this has changed since Monday’s briefing) so any return and repair will likely require many months of patient waiting. Unde...
