So annoying Steve - I defo didn’t price any specs when I owned the watch briefly! Btw it’s not just Tudor, I had this problem with a zenith el primero which had to go back. It was gone for 2 months!

Re: 50th birthday watch - Schofield The Light / General Purpose Field Watch
Happy birthday! What a very cool watch! I’m 50 this year also (in May), I know that I’ll be getting a watch for my 50th from my wife, she has told me that, and am very worried about what she might pick. It’s a very personal thing we have in terms of what we like and what we don’t. And if I don’t li...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread
That’s great! I don’t see anything on eBay saying that? Last time round it automatically had a 10% discount applied and would come up on the purchase price

Worn and Wound meet up
Hi all,
I have an invite to a worn and wound meet up event in soho this Friday at 7pm.
I applied for tickets a few weeks ago but can’t make it.
Message me and I can forward you the email, first drink is free and the founders of worn and wound will be there.
Best
Mark

New Omega Moonwatch - the "Daniel Craig" White Dial
What are people's thoughts on this? Launching tomorrow (apparently) - I spoke to OB on Regent street and they cannot confirm that that is what is being released tomorrow, but were happy for me to be put on the wait list of such watch if it's released! I understand there is a launch even tomorrow at ...

Re: The Meraud Bonaire Dive Watch
On the Meraud watches - I saw these in person last month at the watch pro event in London, they are really nice especially the black/gilt version which did give real BB vibes. I liked it more than the green one which seems to be the fave for most. I also got the Antigua recently which is a great wat...

Re: BBC documentary - Rolex Rippers
Funny you should say fictional- go search for Paul Thorpe who is behind the watch register, he was somewhat involved in the programme, but debunks it as being fictional and the “thieves” being actors… Maybe some truth as at one point he holds up a couple of watches saying that are worth 20k, albeit ...

Re: A Rolex, A Tudor and a happy ending.
Ah thanks all - mum, baby, and OP doing well, Mum initially unhappy at me buying the OP, however push present of a Cartier Ballon bleu seems to have changed her mind on her initial point of the OP being my last ever watch purchase!

Well now the OP just become a never sell (accidentally early birth of our daughter caused the OP to be on my wrist)

Re: A Rolex, A Tudor and a happy ending.
Couldn’t be happier, I honestly believe that the pelagos is a great watch, but something about it just didn’t get with me, not sure if it was the feel of the titanium or the sunburst bezel and dial, but it just didn’t work. I certainly didn’t have the same feeling the first time I strapped a BB58 on...
