Re: A Rolex, A Tudor and a happy ending.
Ah thanks all - mum, baby, and OP doing well, Mum initially unhappy at me buying the OP, however push present of a Cartier Ballon bleu seems to have changed her mind on her initial point of the OP being my last ever watch purchase!

Re: A Rolex, A Tudor and a happy ending.
Well my wife is about to give birth so I do need to get her a push present, diamonds/or watch have been mentioned (she only wears Cartier/Rolex in terms of watches...)

Re: A Rolex, A Tudor and a happy ending.
Couldn’t be happier, I honestly believe that the pelagos is a great watch, but something about it just didn’t get with me, not sure if it was the feel of the titanium or the sunburst bezel and dial, but it just didn’t work. I certainly didn’t have the same feeling the first time I strapped a BB58 on...

No worries - just trying to work out what that next watch but is going to be, and a big discount makes that choice much easier!!

Re: Settle an argument?
Actually I’ve got a slight different question - I’m flying out of Gatwick in a few weeks, how were the prices of the omegas and zeniths? Are they still 20% cheaper than RRP?

Re: Non CW of the Day
New to me, delivered this morning. I blame this place for forcing me  PXL_20230422_090005025.jpg Congratulations! It’s a lovely piece 👏👍 Thank you, I'm already looking at straps  I saw a thread on omega forums that you can use the omega seamaster 300 black rubber (with a slight modifica...

Re: New IWC Ingenieur?
I did get an email confirmation, but did not have to put down a deposit. I also mentioned that my wife is pregnant and I need a watch to purchase for the baby - so hopefully that might get me one a little earlier!

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread
Not quite a bargain, but sort of! The UK omega website has 3 green SMP 300s for sale on bracelet. This is still a tricky watch to get in store, and has a wait time of a couple of months, every time I wear mine in an AD or OB they ask me how did I get it and how long I had to wait.
