Re: Battery replacement? Ubi, Scooby?
Also, I'd recommend anyone changing their own batteries to wear an anti-static wrist strap or similar protection. Don't want to be zapping your lovely watches! Re: Battery replacement? Ubi, Scooby?
Hey guys....if you are changing the battery yourself, cover the case back gasket with a thin coat of a non petroleum based grease. If will help to insure a better seal. I use a silicone grease for the gasket. You can buy a type that comes in a circular container. Pop the gasket inside, screw the li...

Re: Incoming! Steinhart
Having had my first order cancelled I had a change of heart and ordered the Hulk version of the Ocean 39 Premium instead. Here she is: I’m very impressed by the build quality, it feels like a premium piece but good value at just over £500. Even the cyclops isn’t offending me, as they used to. The l...

Re: Any recommendations for a case back removal tool?
I’ve used that friction ball before with success, and other times with failure... For $18 I picked up this kit from Amazon, which comes with an adjustable wrench case back tool that can get almost any screw-on case back off. Also has plenty of other goodies for watch tinkering. Vastar Watch Repair ...
