I've been toying with the idea as I hit the big 50 last year, but nit seen the magic one yet. Last bug watch was a seamaster for my 30th, but just about to pass that down to my son. Sounds like a prime opportunity to get a new one to me! Agreed, but my desires exceed my purse....at the moment

One solution is to buy ‘impulsively’ enough that you only remember to read the reviews once the watch is on your wrist and you’re loving it. Then confirmation bias is your friend - anything negative in the review will just be defeated effortlessly by your subconscious while you remember and magnify...
