Re: Automatic watch winder

Thanks for that Vansflyer, I know from your post and a little research the angled ones need a very loose counterweight to work but the verticals do seem the way to go now this is outstanding.

Re: Bracelet maintenance

I have used WD40 on a few occasions with cheaper bracelets they give it an amazing smoothness. I let it soak, use kleenex to dry off the residue, then wash in soap and water then dry with a microfibre the WD40 tends to remain in the pin hinge section and penetrates in so that when done there is no r...

Alternate straps on the C60 Trident

OK, as I have two incoming I like to seek out alternatives to the bracelets they are coming on.

1. Blue C60, go to a matched blue no-hole Breitling type on a clasp deployant?
2. Black C60, heavy s/s mesh?

Anyone have any pics with either idea I would love to get an idea of how they would look.

Bracelet maintenance

On some other watch forums I have read about the maintenance of the watch bracelet and the lubrication of them by a good old soak (after removal from the head and clasp! in WD40 I have even done this on a couple of watches and have to say the amount of gunk and black ooze that comes out is pretty am...

Automatic watch winder

OK
So, another foray into something new for me, I have two Tridents now and plan to get a winder for them. What specification does other members use and what sort of turn rate and frequency is ideal for the SW200/ ETA 2824 movements in them please,,,,,

Many thanks good people.

Re: First time buyer advice

These are IMO the best that CW have produced, whether in 43mm like yours or 38mm as I have had since beginning of 2015, although on a Bader strap. They have balance in the dial layout, have their shiny bits but still manage to be a sports/divers watch. Congratulations on your lovely purchase. Thank...
