Re: Schofield?

I really do like the look of them, but if was spending that money I'd have to go for Bremont. It's hard to support British brands when prices are so high. I am delighted I discovered CW! The CW build quality is high (higher than most others at the price), the designs are very good, service seems sec...

Schofield?

Anyone know much about Schofield watches? https://schofieldwatchcompany.com/watches
They look very nice indeed, but the prices are eye-watering. Are they worth it?

Re: Marloe Watch Company?

Nice! They are certainly outstanding value for £299. Great build, quality Miyota movement, and, above all, great design. I'll admit, the design pushes the boundaries a little, but hey, for £299 it's worth giving it a go.

Re: C9 D-Type

Very, very nice. But VERY expensive. This is approaching Omega, Tudor territory. It's asking a lot to compete with them.

Marloe Watch Company?

Anybody got experience of Marloe Watch Company? I believe they were a crown funded startup. I just bought a Coniston which seems very nice. Amazing value for £299. Miyota movement, Sapphire crystal, display back and very individual design. https://www.marloewatchcompany.com/collections/coniston/prod...

Re: Rapide Chrono

I also have an Oris Artelier moonphase, a really beautiful watch, 3 subdials plus a moonphase at 12 o'clock. (I'll post a picture when I can). Problem is it has a white face and white subdials, very nice, and silver hands! Again, nearly impossible to read. I hadn't thought of changing the hands, but...

Re: Rapide Chrono

I own Seiko Presage Cocktail. Silver dial with radial pattern and silver hands! All but impossible to read in a hurry but beautiful to look at. I hardly wear it but would never part with it.

More realistically, an Elliot Brown Tyneham is high on my list.
