Re: Coronavirus

Well the Chancellor announced the self employed support package. On the face of it seems comparable to that announced for company employees. Are there any self employed people on the forum, what do you think? One thing he also hinted at was that going forward, there may be some equalisation/alignme...

I'd break it and have an Explorer for £200 more.

Re: Covid 19 Lock down - UK Ambiguities?

Definitely still trade and as suggested, cut down your post office trips or have a courier collect.

People are depending on online businessrs for things, you're more important than you realise.

Re: Coronavirus

So sad to hear of firms going under and people losing their jobs. It's not supposed to happen like this. It's going to take a long time for the country to find it's feet again when this is all over.

Re: What’s time doing for you now?

Working shifts and rarely the same one two days in a row you could say I'm void of routine. Other than either dropping my boy off at breakfast club or collecting him from after school club. I usually sleep late after dropping him off or sleep in the afternoon before collecting him. Naps like that ar...

Re: What Car do you drive??

Skoda Kodiaq. Big and family frien I thought that was used solely for dive watch bezels and coffee mugs. Seriously though, first I've heard of this. Assuming it provides a protective layer similar to Seiko's Diashield that it applies to the watches? If so, has it proved any good on our woeful roads...

Re: What Car do you drive??

Skoda Kodiaq. Big and family friendly

Pics are a couple of years old from when the car was new and in the detailers after a ceramic coating was put on it.

Re: Coronavirus

UK rail networks temporarily nationalised. Rather quietly.

Very unlike a Tory government. I'm quite impressed to be fair.

Re: Coronavirus

I'm stood in the foyer of my local Sainsbury waiting to get in at 10:30 for a soft opening. Finish work at 8/9pm last week I've barely seen a thing on a supermarket shelf since last weekend. My Mrs is in a high risk category and is scared to go shopping. Add to that she's on maternity leave and stuc...

Re: Selling on Ebay

I've sold things with no issues (not watches). I hate eBay though and use it exclusively to buy SIM cards in bulk as there's nowhere else I can get the product. I've been given half an order, out of date product, my accounts been hacked, one seller didn't even attempt to post the product. I'll alway...

Re: Coronavirus

[quote= I stopped looked around the supermarket, thought up to 60% of people there wouldn't be hurt by going without food for a few weeks and if they ate less they wouldn't need so much toilet paper. Then I grabbed 100 bottles of hand sanitiser gel (had to club an old lady out of the way to get it ...

Re: Soliciting opinions

I say just let them run down. If setting the time is that big a deal then buy a winder or start collecting quartz watches instead.
