Re: Klarna's online process - a note of caution

Best done in the showroom. Declan had mine sorted out within five minutes. The cheeky so and so tried to sell me another watch to tag onto it as well.

Re: A little British-American Humour

The irony of the US helping finish wars when all they do today is start them and run away In its heyday, the British Empire held sway over all of the Middle East and Southwest Asia. Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Afghanistan were all part of that. I acknowledge that nothing lasts forever, least of all the...

>>> Noteworthy dates in 20th-Century American history: 1917 - When World War I began. 1918 - When the U.S. won World War I. 1941 - When World War II began. 1945 - When the U.S. won World War II. I could go on but it's of limited entertainment value when the target is so easy :D Cheers, Paul The iro...

Re: A little British-American Humour

I'd agree it's more of a dig, but it's still true all the same. It's probably quite old as well, in the sense that is only really the older generations that still live on meat and potatoes. British food doesn't really have an identity anymore and that's why we all make Italian, Indian, French food e...

Re: C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 / patina

Personally I wouldn’t. But then, I don’t like bronze watches anyway, so ignore me. It’s your watch and your look. The whole bronze thing is a too bit steampunk for me. Possibly with some watches but not all. Certainly not the C65. https://i.imgur.com/Bt26L5Y.jpg https://i.imgur.com/cUqjeCT.jpg

Thanks for the comments. What is the mechanism for paying tax and RM? Do RM charge for both on delivery or is a separate transaction with HMRC?
You'll either receive the goods without them picking up on it or the courier won't deliver until you've paid the duty through them.

Really liking this just now https://i.imgur.com/Mv1jHap.jpg Bungle-ator, you Sir, are a man of exquisite taste. I have one and it is my most worn watch. The case is a scratch magnet though. https://live.staticflickr.com/4571/38091726894_f8498a9cca_b.jpg Omega 1s by Mark Wheeler , on Flickr My first...

Re: Issues with c65 trident diving - Winding problems

^^^^^all of what Bident says. I'd expect the resistance you're feeling is it getting tighter and that should continue until you reach the point where it won't let you wind it anymore. I wouldn't worry about overdoing it, I'm sure it would take some real brute force and a severe disregard for the wat...

Re: Forum Names

I've always called my wee boy Bungle behind his back. In a bid to remain anonymous and under the radar at the bookies I used The Bungle-ator for something there and whilst signing up on here it came back to me whilst I was stumped for another psudenym. Edit: if I was signing up again I'd definitely ...

Re: "Crown Sore"???

I can see a light scar from when I last had that ten years or so ago. None of my watches get near that area now, although they would if I allowed them more movement on my wrist.

Re: Music Streaming Services

As an aside, if it wasn't for convenience I wouldn't be bothering with it. New music doesn't do a lot for me these days and even with unlimited material available I find that 90% of the time I'm listening to the same music that I bought the 90s. Bungle-Ator, that’s one of the things I enjoy about s...

I'm currently using Google Play Music, odd it's not in the poll? Previously used Spotify and then Amazon Music (subscription was related to Alexa compatibility in the Sonos One. Much a muchness between them all but I wanted to kick the annoying Alexa out of my Sonos to make way for Google Assistant ...
