Re: Too accurate!

The SH21’s should be within COSC in first 3 days. After that they do run fast as the barrels lose more power. The bigger the reserve the more acurate they are. Even winding mine fully every day it runs wild after 4 or 5 days of being set. Can I ask why you are winding it every day? It has a 5 day p...

Re: Too accurate!

I'm fair jealous of all these super accurate SH21's. I can't make up my mind with mine as it seems to be a bit Jekyll and Hyde. First 2 or 3 days after setting the time It's very accurate. It's gaining anything from 1 - 8+ seconds per day. Even if I wind it every evening the gains get bigger and big...

Re: Bungle-ator SOTC January 2019

Cheers all. I bought the C65 on blue rubber but I really wasn't getting on with it. I had an image in my head of what I wanted for it but I was struggling to find something suitable. Thankfully a member on here pointed me towards Colareb. The strap on it now can look very flamboyant depending on the...

Re: Bungle-ator SOTC January 2019

Excellent collection you have with a nice bit of variety. I used to have an Eco drive not dissimilar to yours and have thought about getting another. I’ve got a Hamilton Jazzmaster day date and do like the brand. The C65 Diver is lovely too. What’s next on your hit list? Sent from my iPhone using T...

Re: Bungle-ator SOTC January 2019

I’m biased as I have the vintage dial version of the Hamilton but you are bang on that it is a fantastic movement, especially for the money. Nice strap on the C65 SH21, it really suits it. I’m a little confused as to why you cancelled the appointment at CW due to watches being too big but then buyi...

Bungle-ator SOTC January 2019

A small and modest collection by most standards on here. First up is my trusty Citizen Eco-drive Calibre 3100 with perpetual calendar. This was the only watch I wore from the Summer of 07 through to November 14, until the strap finally fell to peices. I occasionally wear it to work when I fancy a ch...

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

Looks good Strapmeister. I think this thread shows up that we've got loads of options that will work very well with this watch.

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

After a few days of emails I ordered a distressed blue leather strap from Colareb. It arrived within 48 hours and I'm very happy with the feel and the colour of it. They couldn't supply with a bronze buckle but it's a 20mm fit so I've just switched the original CW one onto it. http://i.imgur.com/3LJ...

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

Well I'm doing my best to buy a distressed blue leather strap from Colareb but they've not been great at answering questions so far. I suffer from slim wrists but rather than tell me how close the nearest hole is to the lug they've tried to convince me to buy a short strap. I really don't want less ...

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

Looks good on both straps and your watch looks to have patinated nicely. A couple of dips in the Andaman Sea and a week of sailing toned it up nicely. I'll admit I was slightly worried because it looked so good brand new with the virgin bronze, but I much prefer the patina. I've been wondering wher...

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

Crown and Buckle have recently started selling an adjustable fabric strap that appears to be very similar to the Tudor fabric straps. So they are NATO like, but without the usual hideous huge hardware or tail fold ever. I think the C65 would look great on one of these Crown & Buckle Chevron straps,...

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

Maybe not your taste, but I love the faded olive drab NATO with it... 20181026_crop.jpg 20181024_084711_crop.jpg Stag also works well (strap isn't quite as bright in real life but looks awesome)... 20181027_141642.jpg Cheers, G Looks good on both straps and your watch looks to have patinated nicely.

Re: C65 Trident Bronze LE strap options

Colareb produce some nice distressed straps. Couple of forumites have them on their bronze watches. On the buckle dilemma, can't you transfer the CW bronze one to whichever strap you buy? Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have a look there. I'm not sure I can be bothered changing a buckle around as w...
