Re: CWL of the day

^^^^ 😂.

Great choice pal.
Although I’m looking at the blue in either the handwound OR auto. When I was there I fell in love with the hand wound version.

Re: CWL of the day

It’s tough as it’s in the box and view is obscured.
But, I’m gonna guess Black C65 Trident Auto.
As you bought it today at CW Towers.

Congratulations.

Wearing a previous logo 38mm........ on the wrist.jpg Full face.jpg full underside.jpg bezel view.jpg full face 1.jpg ...as you can see the plastic film is still on, at present, on a brand new "new logo" bracelet that has the easily moved micro-adjustment. Fits perfectly with 1 link removed and all...

Re: C65 Trident automatic

Although a blue date wheel would be ideal I agree with Mikkei. Photos blow the details up and although having not yet seen it in the flesh I can imagine it’s not that noticeable. Certainly not a deal breaker. I have a tough task deciding on either that or the hand wound version when I eventually ge...

Re: Hoping it’s not indicative

Hi Essex Paul, I can truly empathise with your position of experiencing early failure of your new watch and anxiety to commit to a second CW, no matter how good it looks, if the first one is not replaced/repaired and returned to you in a very timely manner. As I mentioned before, it’s not just abou...

Re: Shocking repair time

Oh sorry.. I was reading back through the thread and noticed I was repeating myself and deleted the post. Yeah, 3 months was a bit dissapointing for a simple crown repair. But that included shipping and 3 week holdup in UK customs. http://horology.world/forums/topic/51-watch-repair-by-christopher-w...

Re: Shocking repair time

With the number of faulty CW’s I’m reading about along with my own one, think they should consider recruiting.
These long waits and increased numbers of repairs should see more technicians brought in.
That or get the QC and quality right in the first place.

Re: Today's Showroom Visit

Great write up thanks Mikkei. If anything you’ve clouded my judgement further as the C65 auto looks better in your pics than the official ones. I was 75-25 in favour of the handwound (blue). But after your brilliant review and pictures I’m now 50/50  Another visit to CW towers is therefo...

Re: CWL of the day

Jobs around the house completed, time to put a special, memorable watch on. C9 ME109 SPC#053 - bought in memory of my wife (serial no was her birth year). It would have been her birthday today. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190212/b18a9421b6fecb750b03f1c936f179aa.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-c...
