Re: Service cost and what is involved in a CW service

Depends on the watch. All SH21 powered watches go over to Beil, Switzerland. Possibly a few others. The rest will stay in Maidenhead, as I understand it. Guy I certainly wouldn’t send my SH21 back to CW again whilst it goes back to Biel. They have seriously shaky hands over there. Mine came back wi...

Re: New arrival. C65 Trident Diver Blue

Just out of curiosity I tested my C65 hand wound twice over the past week. 1st test: 46 hours 5 mins 2nd test: 45 hrs 50 mins Rather surprised it went for as along as it did. You lucky so and so! [emoji38] What was the result of your second test, Paul? Did I miss it? Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Prem...

Re: Non CW of the Day

I am at a crossroad. Seriously thinking whether to move the Submariner (2001 14060M) on. IMG_20190819_102652~2.jpg scooter Don’t do it Scooter! You have on you’re wrist a piece of the watchworld’s treasure. IMHO the sub is the greatest watch ever built. I know, a little over the top  Not only ...

Customer service enhancement:

The big boys offer a "restore to new condition service" including many of their old models which supports their long term brand desirability strategy. Will CW offer such a service going forwards?
+1
Case polishing a big plus.

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August

At this kind of price, I would also be paranoid about wearing it. The C7 is ‘best’ occasions only and works in those settings. A big lairy orange diver wouldn’t work as well! Great to see CW pushing the boundaries again, but I’ll pass on this one. I wouldn't worry about wearing it for any activity ...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 Issues

When I last had my Rolex serviced in Singapore, I went in and asked them how much it would cost, they told me and I asked them what if they found problems. They simply said that the standard price dealt with ANY problem within the watch, as many parts as were required and whatever was needed to bri...

Not my cup of tea, BUT I do appreciate the craftsmanship and skill that went into that.
I'd imagine if CW offered that service quite a few people would take them up on it.

Re: Has SH21 evolved since launch?

On my C1 GMPR the seconds jump back 5 seconds no matter how much it’s wound. Perfectly normal. Helps with accuracy when setting I was told. Evolved over time? Dunno. Mine packed up after two months. Then two months later had to go back again for regulation as it was outside COSC. Working ok at the m...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 Issues

I sent my C60 Trident Vintage in for a warranty repair at the beginning of the year for a stiff/grinding winding mechanism when manually winding the crown. This issue developed after about a year of ownership. The repair stated on the return invoice was "Clean reverse wheels." Included with the no ...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 Issues

As part of the service, CW will check that the timekeeping is within tolerance, -20/+20 sec per day for the C60. If you would like them to regulate it to the best for your movement they will do so, but may charge. That's interesting I assumed regulating the watch would be included as part of the se...

That doesn’t look right to me. One euro is still worth more than one US dollar.
If that euro price is correct @ 1.1150 usd to the euro the USD price should be $4872.
