Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Agreed. The recent threads have been full of sage advice about end to end processes, full view of customer and implementation of CRM systems etc.., as if JB and the three founders weren’t really aware of such stuff. After all it’s not as if any of them are longstanding hard nosed entrepreneurs........

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

The point that on this occasion MF has acknowledged there is a problem speaks volumes and fair play to him for fronting up and stating they will fix it. Neil As armchair commentators it's all too easy to demand action but a kneejerk is no use and lasting fixes are not implemented overnight. I hope ...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Can I generally recommend people call instead of email? Email is increasingly unreliable. Personally I have had several conversations and interactions with the CS team. They were polite and generally did as promised, even if a day or two later than I would have expected. The key is to get someone w...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

I do feel we have to cut the admin team some slack, wether we like it or not, deep down we all know their influence is limited as Kip has repeatedly pointed out. They do do what they can and fair do's.

Re: Review of Trident Elite 1000 LE by Fratello

The only new info I can take away is that he found the new hybrid strap comfortable. Maybe be just me, but I find practically all internet watch reviews anodyne, little more than a repeat of the spec, a regurgitated description of the watch and maybe some company history. I would like to see evidenc...

Re: CWL of the day

[ Cheers. I'm determined to make the strap work. Mush as I have a special Ostrich leg skin strap and an Orange / Blue NATO, waiting for it. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk That will be interesting, the hybrids certainly look very nice so I'll be interested to hear how that goes. B...

Re: Sizing a bracelet

I use a hammer and pin push tools to size a bracelet. The CW bracelet isn't any more difficult than other bracelets. You can't feel how much force you're applying with that other tool. You can tap as hard as is needed to get the pin out and you know you're doing it wrong when you have to tap too ha...

Re: Sizing a bracelet

The bracelet has arrived, and it is most impressive. The quality is outstanding compared to other bracelets I have. Question though.... I assumed there would be arrows in the links indication which direction to push the pins out, but there aren’t. Can anyone tell me from what direction (relative to...

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services

Slightly off topic but thought it was funny. Even though I’ve bought a watch from them I’ve never received a Loupe magazine. So weeks ago,(dunno 6?), when the summer one came out I clicked on the “request a copy” link on the website. Nothing. Phoned CS. Nothing. Requested on website again 3 times!!...

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

I may have lost the wood for the trees here but can somebody clarify exactly what the situation is? Do i need to service my watches at 3-4 years to ensure my warranty is valid for the full 5 years? thanks Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk As far as we know so far, this only applies to the new Tr...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

I have had the watch passed back to me by the head technician and he has stated that the watch just needs a mechanical repair. The cost to repair the watch will be £365.00 plus returns postage of £7.95 To pay for the battery you can either call in with your card details or supply me with a PayPal e...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Rolex trusted me to pay my service bill of £780 after it was serviced back in 2015 as I'm sure most companies do. Why should a company think that the bill won't be paid? They have your watch after all and would not return until the bill is settled. Perhaps others could comment on other brands payme...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

I do hope some people who have been following these threads make it to the GTG and create some serious waves.

Sending a watch back to the wrong customer and then taking three months to get it back? What the hell was going on?

And that is not the first time we have heard that. :headbash:
