Re: C65 Dune Aeolian - Shifting Sands

Unfortunately this has been a trend of CW for a while now. They release a one-off special edition. Then they find out it's a big hit and sells out immediately. Then a year a or later they release a non-LE version of a very similar watch. I'm an original Atoll owner so I'm familiar with this concept...

Re: C65 Dune Aeolian - Shifting Sands

As a very happy owner of the Shoreline, this release smarts a little, but given the reception that it received from people that missed out, CW would have been crazy not to capitalise on a wider release. It would maybe have been nice to have seen a different wave pattern as was the case to differenti...

Re: How much? I coulda bought a watch for that.

I came indoors one lunchtime a few weeks back, and heard a very distinctive dripping sound; water dripping into a pool of water. It was too loud to be the header tank in the loft and soon noticed a steady trickle of water running down my dining room wall. The rear of our bathroom shower valve was le...

Re: Beaucroft Element: looks interesting, but err......

Horologium are involved with Studio Underd0g’s assembly and regulation as well. I view their involvement as a Good Thing.

It’s still a Beaucroft watch and it wouldn’t exist were it not for them. You’re happy with the design and price, buy it and enjoy it!

Re: The Black Bay 54

Funny that you resurrected this thread on today of all days @biggus_richus . I just now returned from the AD as they notified me they finally got one of these in. I tried it and am now trying to figure out if it’ll make it into my collection now or later :D Used prices are starting to come down if ...

Re: Dangerous Demagnetisers

Anything electrical from Amazon / eBay / AliExpress had got dodgy written all over it in my experience. Which, I suppose, begs the question: where to buy something safe and reliable without paying silly money? Silly money is of course subjective, but this is the one I bought a few years ago, which ...

Re: CW in the context of your collection?

I have seven CWs now, which accounts for about a third of my collection. Two have arrived in recent months; the Wyrd Bel Canto and C65 Shoreline x Oracle Time, joining a couple of mk2 C60s, a C60 BLUE, a C60 Concept and a Super Compressor. Three of those are never-sells - the BC and SC were gifts fr...

Re: July Sale 2024 Thread

Conventional wisdom is that you should always buy watches on bracelet. But if I had, I wouldn’t have bought a C65 bracelet for half price in the clearance!

These have been landing with their owners for the past couple of weeks. Mine arrived today, and it is just spectacular. And even better looking than that one.
