Re: Non CW of the Day

Forum opinions on this were not all kind when it was announced. As with most watches, it’s much nicer in person. As the release was delayed, those of us with preorders got a free leather strap. It won’t change anyone’s opinion on the watch but good to know there are companies out there working to ke...

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

The C60 images show the PVD as having a brushed finish, notably on the shoulders. Will this be the case, or will the brushed finish be visible through the coating? Asking as on my C60 vintage, the PVD finish is smooth and glossy, and although subtle, I think it's a significant difference.

Re: CWL of the day

Ombré today.

Fascinated by the differences between each of these. Not just the scratching pattern, but the amount of scratching undergone. Mine seems to have had most of the tarnish removed so the dial glows a bit more.

Cheers Chris. Guess it's a general case of Caveat Emptor. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Indeed. My wife bought the ladies version of the Oris skeleton from TK Maxx that I posted upthread. Firstly I discovered it was to be delivered by Hermes, who wouldn’t be my first courier cho...

Oris back in at TK Maxx. This is a steal if you fancy a skeleton - my wife snapped up the ladies version.

Can anyone explain the “open 6” reference the author makes?
It's the fact that the stroke that is used to scribe the six doesn't meet itself and "close". Same as on the CW C65 divers.

Top notch.

Several guys over on the CWE got one too.

Seems like a popular watch.

Surprised at the popularity of these, especially given the unpopularity of 38mm Tridents. Is it that the Q is slimmer?
