Top notch.

Several guys over on the CWE got one too.

Seems like a popular watch.

Surprised at the popularity of these, especially given the unpopularity of 38mm Tridents. Is it that the Q is slimmer?

Re: Marloe Diver

Ooooh, great news that. Thanks for the info, I hadn't seen that. Just says sold out on the website. I shall be keeping an eye out  Latest news from the MWC Facebook fan page (from the designer himself) is Final assembly at manufacturer now, scheduled for end of September/Early October rest...

Re: Oris Sixty-five Diver LE Honey X Revolution

Nice shots and write up, as ever. I've misted up the shop window staring at this one a few times (or whatever the online equivalent is - probably doesn't bear thinking about). I think the fifth photo does a good job of showing that it's not a purely orange dial, in contrast to the official marketing...

I thought 'fruit machine'.

Sorry if that sounds harsh.
I don’t think that sounds harsh at all. But that’s mainly because

Looks like a poor value kickstarter watch, with lume plots applied by a trainee who doesn’t know what a circle is. :)

Re: Marloe Diver

On to the watch, I like it's looks, but no date. This would actually be going onto my list to buy if it wasn't for that small fact. I really want to own a Marloe, but I need a date. I wanted the Haskell with green dial, but that sold out  The green Haskell will be restocked in the coming...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

Saw two in one day recently while out and about in Reading Firstly what I think was a C5 Malvern Aviator in cream; as the owner was manning a stand at some fayre or other, I was able to have a chat with him. Later, I caught a fleeting, but unmistakeable glimpse in passing of a C8 Flyer. Sod’s law I ...

Re: CW on social media

Those that don't “do” social media can still see Christopher Ward Instagram posts without signing up (including the aforeposted Ombré story) by clicking the icon in the footer of the Christopher Ward page, or directly via https://www.instagram.com/chriswardlondon/

Re: CW on social media

I am perplexed by people wanting the benefits of social media channels without signing up to the platforms. When someone on the Facebook CWE wanted to see the proposals for the next FLE, I asked why they couldn't just go to the forum and take a look. They couldn't be bothered, yet they could be both...

Re: FLE #8 - Poll #5

I know this was ruled out from the outset, but since it was mentioned at the G2G that a 40mm GMT will be introduced, could it now become an option? There did seem to be a number of members that considered the 42mm to be too large.
