Re: Two-handers?

From experience, if you are in any way interested in checking or tracking accuracy, then you'll find a two-hander quite frustrating!

Re: Speedmaster bracelets - Uncle Seiko

I had a rum old time fitting the flat link bracelet, but following a tip from @Maraeburn, I swapped the supplied spring bars with those from my Speedy Pro and found success. Whether they made a genuine difference or I was slightly more practised I don’t know, but swapping them back over will be a jo...

Re: How many links?

Do you have a strap, quick release or otherwise, that you’ve worn on the same watch?

Take it off and fasten the buckle on the hole you’d normally wear it on. You can then put this side by side with the unattached bracelet as a rough guide.

Re: CWL of the day

A day in the office today, ostensibly to get out of the heat and away from the noise of the children, but a bit to pop out at lunchtime and finally get the bracelet this came on resized.

Re: CW Return Process

I had a couple of nearly new purchases to return. Both requests for return packages submitted via the web form went ignored, but I had better luck emailing support directly. The returns were received July 14th. On the 16th I got a confirmation email saying that they are being passed to the technici...

Re: 1966 Ingersoll

That's cool. Good ol' dad. I think you're on the right lines. Service, sympathetic clean, strap and lume pip. Nothing more. Bezel may well be non-ratchet, just friction. Not unheard of for that era. Curiosity, what case size? Guy PS> Keep the old strap for provenance. Sent from my Xperia 5 using Ta...

1966 Ingersoll

Hi, hoping for advice and opinions. My Dad has handed me the Ingersoll dive watch he got for his 21st birthday. He doesn’t wear it any more and nor does he want to. I think it’s lovely and it seems to be in good working order. A cursory Google suggests it has a Swiss FHF movement which is good news ...
