Re: The Pocket Watch Gallery

Vortic seem to be selling these at a hefty Premium ! https://vorticwatches.com/pages/military-edition-info Thanks for the feedback. I have been tempted MANY times to buy one of the black dial GCT (Greenwich Cival Time) models, they come up on Ebay fairly regularly. I stumbled onto this one in a loca...

Re: Admin Team meets at CW towers

Thanks for that update & insight ...

I do hope that visible progress with the mooted CS improvements is quickly evident - otherwise, the topic as presented will be viewed as 'content-free' .... aspects you mention are identical with an email dialogue that I had with Chris Ward exactly a year ago ...

Re: When will I get my watch?

Never had an extended Delivery for a Purchase (altho a couple of Repairs must have broken records !) However, in the light of many of these posts, am wondering if the NN purchase I made on 04Nov19 is going to be a contender .... UPDATE Monday 17.00 : neednt have paniced - just had the Dispatch email...

Re: Delivery timescales

I asked the same Q - to be raised in the next CWL open session - the cognescenti on here suggest it only happens with PayPal purchases - but I'm not convinced ...

Re: Delivery timescales

The face misalignment is one thing, bad enough but tolerances might come into it, maybe wasn’t visible to the naked eye in QC ... by finding that the Date Window of the C7 Panda was offset by almost a mm from alignment with the Baton at 6 o'clock ... Its not much, but caught my eye immediatly .... ...

Re: Delivery timescales

Sigh ... the pleasure of getting my new watch more quickly than anticipated & the effectiveness & professional approach of DPD ... was totally marred by finding that the Date Window of the C7 Panda was offset by almost a mm from alignment with the Baton at 6 o'clock ... Its not much, but caught my e...

Re: Delivery timescales

Just received the Dispatch email - of course, DPD dont have it yet, so the Tracking site is a tad 'content-free ' ... There was a link in the email to CWL's FAQ's ..... Once you have placed your order and received a confirmation email, we aim to ship within two working days , though during periods o...

Hi Laird, my NN took 8 days and arrived last Sat so 1 week despatch seems about the norm on my last 2 stock items. Im also awaiting a C9 AM GT (glad they didn't wait to group the despatch). Maybe try emailing Vallen Hardy in CS, seems helpful and efficient.
Appreciated !

Re: Delivery timescales

Just tried to phone - the line was totally squelched out with heavy interference ... hey ho ... I have a sense of pending delay: I ordered a C7 on 03Oct19, the very same day that it came off 'Pre-Order for Late Sept ' status ... I suspect this may involve a QC delay - even tho it was actually only t...

Re: Questions - Chat with Co Founders - Bristol GTG / CW Event - 2nd November 2019

Thanks - but I want it addressed by CWL ! In the CWL website - 'My Account' section, the status of all my orders for the past 18 months remains as 'Processing' - given I have all but the most recent safely in hand, why is this ? How about fixing this ! Paid by Paypal? will remain as processing forev...

Re: C.Ward Market Survey

The next stage after responding to the initial email is to be offered £75 to personally attend an hours Q&A session in Finsbury EC2 - two dates are offered.

If you decline a personal session you can indicate if you are still interested in participating in some other way.
