Re: CWL of the day

A new arrival today courtesy of the NN sale. More subtle than I expected, but all the better for it. Fabulous piece.

Dan Henry new releases

Just received an email from Dan Henry talking about the wind-up watch fair in New York on 25 to 27 Oct. “This year I have much to show and discuss. We will release a new model that has been a frequent request among our collectors: a two sub-dials 1964 chronograph that will be available for sale at t...

Re: Punching an extra hole in straps

I bought this one from eBay which worked well for punching an extra hole in a CW leather strap. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REVOLVING-TURRET-PLIERS-LEATHER-PUNCH-HOLE-WATCH-STRAP-BELT-BAND-CANVAS-LP102/331476892968?hash=item4d2d8ffd28:g:cgAAAOSwPe1UFDU- The smallest hole is just ever so slightly bigg...

If I didn't have steel Seaforth, I'd be sorely tempted. I think they are lovely watches, clean and well-balanced.

Actually, I am still tempted...

Re: Halios Seaforth B

Well it arrived yesterday and first impressions are very positive. The green dial is absolutely stunning - black or even midnight blue in some angles and lights and a deep pearlescent green in others. Supremely comfortable rubber strap, but I prefer the canvas which looks and feels great. Super qual...

Where next for the Apex? After the C7 and C60, what model is next, and when is it expected to be released?

^^^ Might be an idea to rotate your image 90° anticlockwise and use the Place Inline button.

Well not quite seven styles, and I’m not sure the Garmin counts as a proper watch, but it’s close enough. Good thread!

Re: New Stainless and bronze Ombre's added to website

I surprise myself by rather liking the C60 steel ombré one. Me too. Quite tempted, might see what offer codes kick around in a week or two. Not so keen on the C65 ombré though - not entirely sure what it is, design just doesn’t click. The SH21 limited edition is lovely - shame it is the b...

Re: The 40 mm C60 four months on?

Haven’t seen one yet, but as the 38mm is too small on me and my 43mm Mk2 Titanium is wearable, but on the large side, I would imagine that the 40mm would be spot on size wise. However, as it would be a case of one in one out, the plain black isn’t sufficient to tempt me to swap out the titanium. Som...

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August

At this kind of price, I would also be paranoid about wearing it. The C7 is ‘best’ occasions only and works in those settings. A big lairy orange diver wouldn’t work as well! Great to see CW pushing the boundaries again, but I’ll pass on this one. Great to hear from another C7 owner. For me the C7 ...
