Re: Mk3 Trident Chronometer?

 Whoops - from a glance, the bezel looked red, and the dial looked textured - so different to the Elite. But I can now see it is just the lighting / reflection of the surface it is on.

Many thanks

Mk3 Trident Chronometer?

Just having a browse on CW’s site (as you do) and saw a pic of a Chronometer mk3 Trident that looks rather nice. Apologies if it is common knowledge, but it was news to me! Anyone know about release date/price/size etc? Second photo down after you go into watches - divers https://www.christopherward...

Re: What would you like to see next?

+1 for the 40mm explorer. I’d also like to see CW pushing boundaries with dial textures / colours. Watches like the C7 hornet, ombré etc. Perhaps a meteorite dial, or some out there colours like the green on the Halios Seaforth B.

Depending on how one measured the MK2 was originally catalogued as a 42mm case. IIRC it was the bezel size that prompted a re-catalogue to 43mm. I believe it will come down to perception of the new design, but physically Mk3 = Mk2.
Thanks - useful to know.

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

No 40mm GMT? Hmmmm... Nice pictures but I'm honestly not sure it'd be worth the upgrade from the MKII. I could see myself with one of the Vintage ones though. Time will tell! :o I’m inclined to agree. Surprising that the 40mm only features in the Pro. Anyone know how the new 42mm compar...

I flipped my Tudor Heritage Chronograph after I thinking my Trident C60 MKIII was far batter quality!

I can’t help think you ending paying a lot more for the name of Tudor rather than a solid watch.
Sounds a bit fishy to me. :D

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

A sorry tale indeed, particularly as it may well be that the brushed bracelets that now come on all existing C60s would fit your C65. If that was the case it is surprising that one was not available when you sent it in, or that CW would have at least been aware that some were coming in. I’ve been re...
