Re: Clearance Returns

C1 Morgan Aero currently on nearly new at 50% off - no COSC though I love this CW model and would more than likely have bought this had we not been in this current crisis :( At the moment I have no plans to buy any watches anytime soon (I'm sure a number of us feel this way :problem: ) Agree, it is...

Re: C7 Rapide Automatic Strap Alternative

I had exactly the same problem with the HDN strap. It works great with the bracelet though - I wouldn’t have it on anything else. It’s a pig to fit though!

Re: Forever watch...

Sinn 556 at 38.5mm is a fabulous thin, wear anywhere tool watch. As a wild card, consider the anordain model 2. 36mm, but would wear bigger. The dials look stunning.

Re: Non CW of the Day

They do indeed look good together. Yes, I really like the tone of the colour too and prefer that is (slightly) more conservative than bright red. I managed to get the site up fairly early and was sorely tempted by the ti proto in green, but delighted with my choice in the end.

Re: Christopher Ward Price for a Battery Replacement.

I asked the very same question 10 days ago for my C70 - the response “Our battery replacements are roughly 20 pounds. My technicians may advise that additional work may need to be done which will have additional charges.” Currently in - will let you know how long it takes. CW has confirmed safe rece...

Re: Who has a Halios Seaforth on order?

Well my signal orange was sacrificed on the altar of the C7 Apex. But I did like the design, style and fit of the Halios a lot. Fast forward a few months and I’ve ended up with an abyss blue ss and a sunburst green bronze in the diver collection. Anyone tempted by the forthcoming Universa or Fairwin...

Love the way that the colour changes colour in the light from green to black. Almost impossible to photo - this one is nabbed from elsewhere.

Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

I have similar reservations to you but I’ve taken the plunge. The tax breaks make the case for an all-electric pretty compelling. To mitigate against range anxiety I’ve ordered a Tesla 3 long range to arrive in April. Range is supposedly around 350 miles, and it is still stupidly quick 0-60 in 4.4 ...

Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

^^^Just a photo? Did you buy it? That was at training, I work for Mercedes-Benz. Our 1st fully electric car. Sorry, not sure why but that isn't the most attractive Merc I've ever seen, the front end/grille are meh, in profile it looks quite similar to a Macan. Referencing @pauljs points, I too have...
