Here is some natural patina!
Bought this one as "raw" nine months ago, so all the patina has evolved naturally since then. From a bright, shiny bronze color to a beautiful dark tone.
I love it, it has that "old bronze diving helmet" thing going!

Re: New watches on clearance
Hi I am new TO CW watch and this forum. Look to buy a watch and saw the c65 in clearance page went back and it had gone. Do they just add weekly or is it random. When watches are listed as "Nearly New", they are in very limited quantity. It's watches that have been on display at exhibitio...

Re: Delivery times
I just experienced a very quick processing and delivery: - Ordered Tuesday evening (after office hours) - Dispatched Thursday - Arrived in Gothenburg, Sweden Friday Standard Delivery... not Next Day, even if it actually reached me the next day! My second CW watch :D https://i.imgur.com/835hjLz.jpg

Re: Too accurate!
It sometimes seems to be the case that when watches are worn consistently over a period of time the little inaccuracies iron themselves out. I experienced this with my C60 Trident 600 GMT in Cyprus over Christmas, where I checked it after 10 days. It was the only watch I had with me. It really is r...

Too accurate!
What's up with this? I set my C1 to the exact time about 3-4 weeks ago... today I fired up time.is and looked forward to setting the watch to the correct time, only to find that it's dead on . Not a single second off... Here I looked forward to the pleasant ritual of pulling the crow...

Re: Automatic watch winder
Back when I used winders, my quite inexpensive quad watch winders had the capability of setting each individual watch position for separate TPD, interval and direction. I had always assumed that to be standard... On my winder, TPD, interval and direction can be set, but not individually per positio...

Re: Automatic watch winder
Do Sellitas and ETA’s wind both ways? I have an ETA in a non-CW watch, it winds in one direction only. As it happens, it winds counterclockwise... opposite direction of the SH21... So if I have both watches in the winder, I need to set it to rotate in alternating directions to keep both watches wou...

Re: Automatic watch winder
You can find the turns per day requirements for all CW watches in the Archive Spreadsheet. Open and click on the TPD/Battery tab. Excellent info in that spreadsheet, but it doesn't appear to be entirely accurate: It states that the Grand Malvern Power Reserve winds in both directions. However, my G...

Re: Update first 5 days. My brand new C1 GM PR
My C1 GM PR behaves the same way: Perfectly within COSC tolerances when within 2-3 days of fully wound. Near the end of the power reserve, it speeds up slighlty. Position also has an influence. My watch runs slightly slower when face down. The COSC certificate clearly shows this is the case. Not a h...

Re: How many SH21's are out there?
My C1 has movement no 5367, COSC certified Nov 2017.
H0rati0's watch having no 4644 in May 2017 shows that his assumptions on production volumes seems accurate.
They are probably in the 6000's by now.
