... Surprised at the price point though - more than the C65 diver. My assumption is that this is largely an increase for the forthcoming C65 quick release bracelet. With this being +£35 over the existing bracelet, which I’d guess will disappear in time. Leather strap: Mk1: £595 Mk2: £695 Bracelet: ...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

And what would you have me say or do? I think an acknowledgement of the issue, and maybe an email to Mike to ensure he is aware of it would be appropriate. You were more than willing to do exactly that for another poster a week ago. Like it or not, the forum is now owned by CW, and as such their is...

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I've got to agree chaps, these pandas look fab!! Nice size and less than 11mm thick for an automatic chronograph is amazing!! Also nice to see the movement through the case back. Digging a little deeper into the specs, the approx 11mm is just the case thickness. There’s a box hesalite crysta...

Mike France interview on Scottish Watches podcast

Mike France has been a guest on the Scottish Watches podcast where he spends about an hour talking about CW history, the Swiss watch industry, products and product development, the logo... amongst other things. By their normal irreverent standards this was rather well conducted with few wild and wac...

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

It does appear to be rather slippery of CW to quietly change the wording for the Trident Mk3 warranty. At the very least they need to clarify whether it's 3 or 4 years by which it must be serviced and offer an honest explanation as to why they're going down this route. Mandating that the service has...

Re: Nearly New watches onsite 2

They seem to be clearing out as much as they can @ 30% and then most likely will drop what's left in a bigger sale @ 50% imho. In general consumers typically look for a deal. If they follow the CW mantra of “do your research” I wonder what proportion pay full, or near full, price for CW watches the...

Trying a Barton navy blue elite silicon on my C65. EF5A34E9-5727-401F-9B09-AC2383287484.jpeg The dial colour is nearly impossible to match as it changes with the light, but it’s close to the bezel colour. Also very soft and comfortable with a bit of taper which you tend not to see on many 3rd party ...

Re: Smiths Vanguard anyone?

Personally I think it’s a slab-sided brute of a thing. And the polished bezel seems far to wide in my eyes.

One has just appeared on the TZ sales corner for the second time in as many days! must be close to a record.
