Re: Oris Divers 65 Honey

Oris are really doing some very interesting things.

The two-tone steel/bronze 65 bracelet is crazily great, some brilliant aquis models and the plum coloured pointer date really appeals to me.

Probably where my money will be going.

I've paid a deposit on a Sinn with Page & Cooper. Will see how I feel when it comes to completing the order.

That’s exciting! This real life photo really seems to show off the sparkle effect of the dial.

Looking forward to seeing it

Re: Baselworld News 2019

Does anyone have any links to the new watches Seiko are releasing? Details of the GS and new spring drive Prospex models are everywhere, but I can’t for the life of me find any others. Apart from some vague pictures of new Sumo’s and ani-digi Tuna’s that look like they were taken in Basel display c...

The Seiko spring drive releases are some of the more interesting I’ve seen so far, but pricey :(

But I do like a Sinn...

Fortunately it’s a 500 piece limited edition, otherwise my white would get very jealous.

Now for something else that also has an unconventional lug to strap/bracelet arrangement. F6C43C09-B180-4775-9F67-61124D78572F.jpeg Neil I was also reading about this last night. Sounds like a very interesting GMT movement; the +/- pushers advance/retard the hour hand without recourse to using the ...

Re: Baselworld News 2019

What have the designers at Tudor been smoking? I’ve just seen somewhere that the BB PO1 has a lug to lug with of about 54mm; they’re not lugs, they’re wings... and do you think Seiko will sue them for ripping off the SKX? One thing I’m pretty sure of is that before this become available we’ll be see...

Re: which of these affordables for a knockabout watch?

Whilst there are probably endless options I can recommend a Hamilton Khaki Field. Mine is an older version, albeit a little larger at 42mm. It’s an excellent every day watch and they’re incredible value for money with ETA movements and an enormous power reserve. Mine’s developing a “lived in” charac...

Re: An Appreciation for "Old School"

Vinyl is a funny old thing, bit like watches... My amp is pretty new with every imaginable source; network/DLNA, AirPlay, Spotify, network radio, plus all the usual physical inputs. Nearly all of which I use. But I’ve still got an excellent 35 yr old Technics turntable and 200+ vinyl albums and sing...
