Re: Pics from the walkers

Re: Just a place to put nice pictures you’ve taken

Today I explored a corner of Essex including Cressing Temple Barns and gardens, a medieval site situated between Witham and Braintree, close to the villages of Cressing and White Notley. My last watch purchase was the C1 Bel Canto Azzurro Blue LE. I haven’t even worn it let alone take it out of the box. I think that says I’m done and it’s certainly a “wonderful place to be”.

It makes the CW back catalogue even more attractive to me and there are lots in the wild, so I’m happy to hunt down discontinued gems
My thoughts too.

Disappointed with England but the excellent ale made up for it.

Re: 2023 Six Nations

Throughly enjoyed the Wales v Ireland opener. Now settling down to watch England v Scotland with an ‘enthusiastic pub crowd’ and a pint or two of this….

Re: Time to retire from the game?

With CW having moved to smaller dials and nothing elsewhere that I’m overly excited about, I might just happily settle with what I’ve got.

You never actually have to say it, do you? They’re just waiting for you to twitch a single muscle fibre in the direction of the door!

Re: Earliest known wrist shot?

This is my earliest wrist shot of watch. A C13 Henley Quartz Chronograph, gold PVD case on a tan leather strap. I took the snap (not so great photo) on my first visit to Park Street on the 10th November 2011. I hasten to add I didn’t buy the watch.
