Re: The Unplanned Tudor

I have seen a 58 for sale in an AD and was sorely tempted, see here https://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=50443&hilit=BB58 I saw that at the time, and was surprised you didn’t buy it. I have a GMT and it would pair nicely with the 58. Was expecting some model variations in that s...

Re: The Unplanned Tudor

Watches of Switzerland showed me a new Bronze with fabric strap on Saturday, but told me they still have a waiting list into 2020 for both the BB58 and the BB GMT.

I still haven’t ever seen a 58 in the metal. I keep looking though.

Re: CW c65 Automatic vs. Oris Sixty-Five (Movember)

Head to head, watch only without considering the price, I would choose the Oris. On Oris’s side, the selection of models in the 65 Diver range is broad - with the 65 and the 65 Vintage, both available in several colours. The bronze-edged bezel is a nice detail, but that model isn’t really comparing ...

Re: Diver shortlist and some convincing needed

.. . . . . MK2s turn up regularly on eBay and our own Sales Corner, though you’ll need a few more posts before you can look there. You won’t need to wait long to see a decent model in the used listings. Only 5 posts to view the Sales Corner. I stand corrected. It used to be more, but I agree no har...

Re: C60 Bronze, raw or patinated?

Raw. Watching the patina darken is one of the points of owning a bronze watch (my opinion only), and when it does, it’s all yours.

Re: Diver shortlist and some convincing needed

Definitely add the Trident to your list. The MK2 is fantastic at 42mm and 38mm. The MK3, not yet released, adds a 40mm model, but what few pictures have surfaced seem to have largely created a “wait & see” vibe. Not long to wait. MK2s turn up regularly on eBay and our own Sales Corner, though you’ll...

Re: Weight of the C60 Trident Pro

I sold my Aquis a few weeks ago but already having seller's remorse.. :( I wondered why you were selling it. Everything you’ve said about it revealed how much you liked it (I agree!). Did you see there was a green Aquis in SC? That’s the one I have and it’s fantastic. Edit: here’s the link to SC: h...

Sorry for your loss. You’ve shown a hell of a lot of bravery yourself to post such a personal message here.

Oris Divers 65 Honey

Another new release of the marvellous Diver 65. The article is a bit pretentious but the watch is eye-catching and the bronze bezel complements the dial.

Re: Crown Inquiry

Welcome to the forum. And importantly, if you’re setting the date, never do it when the hands are between 9pm and 3am because somewhere during that time the movement would be in the process to move the date wheel itself. Some may say this first part is optional (though not for me!), as the second ha...

Someone got a great deal on a C70 Rapide Automatic DLC for 55% off. I tried to buy it but it was out of stock when I tried to add it to my basket. Anyone here?

Pre-discount price of the bronze C60 looks wrong. Isn’t this the GMT’s price?

Hi all, I'm Stijn, the guy behind Méraud Watch Co. and I just joined this forum because I found a thread about my watches on here. I wanted to participate in the thread. [………] Anyway, my reply is becoming a novel. And this for a first post... Welcome Stijn. That is quite a first post; very interest...
