Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
Hi every one! Back with a new issue on my CW. It was out of réserve for a few weeks and i decided to wear it today. I forgot to wind it and to set the time this morning and being very busy today, i did not noticed it. Back home, i was surprised that it did not start again although i had quite à long...

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
Great news Adrien !! It is quite a struggle on your fingers to do the full wind on an SH21 movement but as you said you will get an accurate measurement of it's time keeping. A possible bit of confusion with CW telling you to go anti clockwise is that you do have to go this direction to change the ...

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
Glad to hear all is sorted. One question though. As it is an Automatic, why do you wind it 100+ turns? You only need to wind it 10-15 turns to get it going and then put it on your wrist to wear. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Basically, this is in order to keep as close as possib...

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
Thank you for all your helpfull remarks. As a reminder, my first SH21 had a problem winding it clockwise. It was blocked. So I called CW after sales and they mentioned there were a mistake in the user manual and that winding were supposed to be done counter clock wise. So when I got my new SH21, I n...

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
Back again on the same issue and I think I do now understand what happened and I am not very satisfied. When I first got the watch, I tried to fully wind it with the crown (more than 100 turns) but the second hand would not start. So I shook it a bit to have the rotor moving and then the seco...

Re: Favourite GIFs
I think I saw the story somewhere that the kitty was having a pretty critical neuro-problem and has been "adopted" by the dog in some way. That's right yes . The kitten is disabled with a neurological problem , its called Ralphee . The dog is an old cattle dog called Max , who looks after...

Re: What is the relevance of COSC.
On my side, it has been part of the reason to go with my last CW COSC purchase. I do not expect or need from my mechanical watch to be very accurate (or I would go Quartz), but the COSC certificate give some clue that I will get enough accuracy for a daily use. Let's assume that a COSC watch should...

Re: FLE #7 Discussion Area
Next FLE will be a Facebook Limited Edition, the forum is dead to CWL Nice reference to the forum is still made at the end of the official watches' user manuals you get with your brand new CW. I do not know any other brand (watches or else) recommending to visit an independant forum... ht...

Re: Colours on watches?
I think a dark purple dial might do a nice job on a dress watch. You would have perhaps liked the previous C3 and C5 LEs then ... http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj267/clubeagle/c3sp1_zpsii7aoeob.jpg http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj267/clubeagle/c5sp3_zps8xuzn9bc.jpg http://i274.p...

Black & orange is also very nice on a more sporty one, like a trident.

Sure, you are both right, but I admit I was not very confident that those few days of waiting would give the expected results. Obviously I was wrong, and I am glad I was. )

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
Quick update here as it might help others! Quite unbelievable but my watch ran 1:30m late during the first 2 days and is now running with a single late second since then (6days)! So, whatever the reason was (and I don't know if I will ever know), there is a chance that a watch being not accu...

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy
I’ve worried before too, when newly acquired watches have been way off, on first arriving. I was told that it was due to the watch needing to settle down after a traumatic trip through the post. I’ve found that they’ve all settled down after a few days. I’m not saying that you don’t have a problem ...
