I have one too and I have yet too see a strap/band that did not look good on it. Its a very versatile piece. Im wearing mine on a bright red Zulu right now.
I have the new straps with leather keepers. There is still fraying in some areas and the leather in the underside became unglued. They seem to be poor quality in general. Thats my only complaint about this watch.

Hey, nice to see a bronze brother. LOL. Im really enjoying mine. I forced patina on mine so it is a bit darker now. Still I like both looks, the shiny bronze and the dull brownish look as well.
