Re: FLE #8 Design Vote #2

^^^ Chaps, this isn't the right place to be discussing watches that you would rather buy than the FLE candidates. This thread is about trying to get enough votes for an FLE to proceed, not to give people reasons NOT to vote for an FLE. You were both advocates for a second poll and now you're potent...

I hadn't noticed that. Good catch. I'm assuming it's because there will be a sub-dial at 9 o'clock.

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote #2

I was seriously considering #22 with the yellow accents, but have just seen the hints at the new chronograph with yellow accents in the new Loupe, so will have to hold off on my vote for now as this is a possible purchase for me.

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote

A simple vote on any that received 15 or more votes would reduce it to the top 3. Put 9, 22, and 30 in one last poll and see if it dies or if those that were overwhelmed/confused by so many options consolidate around one of them. As Phil and others have said, there is nothing to lose but one last vo...

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote

And I'm not sure that picking up the football and going home is the right way forward. Surely the top 10 designs (or 5 or 7 or whatever should now go to the next round to let members decide if they would be prepared to change their vote if their first option(s) didn't make it through? In life it is...

Re: Bristol GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 2nd November 2019

My experience was exactly the same as yours Malcolm and I only live 30 miles away! You’d think that I would have had more chance of hearing them! The camera position was poor, as both subjects were looking away from the camera. Members of the audience wandering into camera and faint conversat...

Re: Bristol GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 2nd November 2019

I put headphones on and turned the volume up as loud as possible and still couldn't make out much of what they were saying. Also, they asked for questions from Youtube at the beginning in the chat window, but didn't answer any of them, including one question from me as far as I could hear. I guess t...

C60 Abyss - Open series or Limited Edition?

As to the text of 'LIM' being visible on the caseback in the video. :silent:

Some of their advertising errors are minor, but they sure do keep trying hard to confuse us whenever they can

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss

The email I’ve just read states that it’s a limited edition. But I can’t see anywhere how limited. Perhaps I’ve just missed it. If you have missed it Alex, then so have I. No mention that I can see in the Website marketing blurb, description, features etc. [emoji107] Mind you, the Trident Titanium ...

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss

I haven't been moved by any of the new CW watches for a while now, but this one got my attention as soon as I saw it. That red and black/dark grey combination. I also like that the end of the hour and minute hands seem to strand out just a little more due to the beveling, as you can see in this imag...

Re: G-shock partners with MOD and HM Armed Forces

Does do a lot of nifty stuff. Just wish I had the lifestyle to really use it all. :ka:  I'll have to look a little closer. Any ideas where the price will land? As far as I know they haven't announced any pricing info or shown the actual design yet as it is not due o be released until early 202...

G-shock partners with MOD and HM Armed Forces

I just saw this page and video announcing that G-shock is partnering with HM armed forces and will be coming out with a bespoke Master of G watch in early 2020. As a former Royal Marine I look forward to seeing what they produce. I also enjoyed the RM mud run video. It brought back some memories :) ...

Re: Introducing the C65 Military Range - Dartmouth / Sandhurst / Cranwell

Hi Folks, A while since I last posted/been to the forum....... I am a CW fan, I really like the C65 range, but, being a former/retired Royal Marine (Real Marine for those that know) I was disappointed there was not a watch for "Royal". I have contacted CW and have been advised that if I could get a...
