Re: Does CW sell returned watches?

I have posted this in a couple of threads in the past when this question has been asked. Here is the email I received from Mike France last year answering the question.

Re: Anyone fancy a Coke?

Scott, I'd email those to Mike France. If CW made this, I'd be in line to buy one. You never know, CW might offer you a work from home paid design job :)

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

Is it 36 or 48? LOL True. The new warranty is incredibly vague. If I develop a fault at month 47, but haven't had a service, is it covered or not? And in checking the service history, do they check if I've had the watch serviced independently? Someone used the analogy of car maintenance (which I do...

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

You wouldn't think the Tudor is a lot more expensive looking at that picture, I prefer the touches of silver on the CW to the gold on the Tudor, I think it goes with the deep red better. I think the Trident would look better with less numbers on the bezel like the Tudor has. There is more numbers b...

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

A little burgundy comparison... https://i.imgur.com/JAmIjip.jpg Interesting to be able to see that the BlackBay dial is dark chocolate and not black. Thanks for the side-by-side comparison picture. I have seriously considered buying the new MKIII with red bezel in the diver or GMT version as I have...

Re: A Tale of Two Watches

Whenever I have telephoned CW with a question, I have called the USA customer service number 1-877-226-8224 at a time in the USA that is also normal business hours in the UK, such as 6am west coast time, which is 2pm UK time. When I explain my problem to the USA customer service they offer to transf...

Re: I think I'm in love with the looks of this Hamilton

Malcolm, I probably favour the 68 LE slightly - for the same money (@ RRP) it is an LE, I quite like the reverse panda dial, and despite being 42mm vs 40mm, on further research the lug to lug is only about 0.5mm more (50.2 vs 49.5). Despite having a fairly small wrist, I do like a watch with a bit ...

Re: I think I'm in love with the looks of this Hamilton

Had a spare hour this afternoon so popped into a couple of Hamilton AD's and fortunate enough to find all 3 version of the Intra-matic. The first two are the 40mm non LE versions and the reverse Panda is the "68" LE of 1968 pieces which is in a larger 42mm size. What was slightly surprising is that...

Dr. Roger Smith OBE loves Christopher Ward

You can't put a price on this kind of advertising. When Dr. Roger Smith OBE purchases one of your watches and says your watch is "incredible quality and value."

Re: MKSnato sailcloth straps

The V2 version on the iwantastrap.com website states they are a little longer, 12.5cm - 8cm, and they have quick release pins, which is a nice addition. Cheers Malcolm. I hadn't got around to looking at those. Decent enough length for me. Guy You're welcome Guy. I just noticed on the FAQ'...

Re: MKSnato sailcloth straps

Yup; too small. MKS state;- 74mm (excluding buckle) x 115mm As a rule I like 80mm / 120mm or longer and like to wear my straps on the loose side. Trouble with having a 74mm buckle section is when the buckle naturally sits in the centre of the underside of my wrist, it pulls the watch head around of...

Re: Are import duties still an issue?

CW head of logistics, Sammy Benson has been working on this issue all week and keeping me updated regularly via email.
