Mike France Interview with Watchpro

Interesting but fairly long interview with Mike France. He discusses the reasons and challenges of designing and producing the new Super Compressor as well as discusses PayPal Credit so USA customers can now get credit, and starting at 40:56 he discusses their new checkout system that is supposed to...

Re: C60 Lympstone

As an ex Bootie, I wouldn't buy the "Dartmouth" as much as I like it, and would like one, because of the Navy fouled anchor on the case back. I would if they would put the G and L on the back of it for a one off for me, but the "lympstone" has a different sized case so may not fit. As a "Perc" as "...

Re: C60 Lympstone

As a former RM Commando, I must admit I am a little disappointed with this watch. not sure I will buy one, shame, very proud to have been one of the "proper" Marines :) Following on to what Jimbo said about proper Marines. As I now live in the USA I have a lot of friends who are former USMC. I woul...

Re: How often do you “check” your watch?

When I first started collecting mechanical watches I was anal about using an app on my phone to set each one every time I wore it to the exact second. Nowadays because I wear my watches in random rotation they need to be set pretty much every time I wear them so if the minute hand looks close to the...

Re: C65 GMT Worldtimer

This one isn't doing anything for me unfortunately. IMHO it just looks like a dull C65 GMT with lots more clutter. Hopefully the promised chronograph and Royal Marines military watches will be better.

Re: C65 Dartmouth - the good, the bad, but.....

I hate to be the one that starts the QC complaining again, but.... I had the spinning rotor issue on my C60 Vintage last year and sent it back to CW for repair. I was happy with the customer Service as the watch was about 8 months old when it developed the issue and CW repaired it in the time they e...

I find it strange they don't have an article/interview with Chris Ward in this issue of Loupe. It would have been the perfect format (and timing) for a nice article about his time at the company. An opportunity missed I think.
Must have been posting at the same time :)

It's going to be a really unique feature that you can count to 10 on the bezel more than once in a row.

Re: CW hints at what's new in 2020

I just received a "Happy New Year" email from CW with a link to their new blog post. At the end of the blog they have a hint as to what is going to be new in 2020. What better way to start the New Year than speculating as to what is coming. It looks like a new elite will be released in February, an...

A hand wound chronograph, maybe?
That would be a cool release. Make it a panda dial or reverse panda and I could be very interested.
