Re: CWL of the day

I agree Steve, I have it and also the black dial both on bracelet. Both great watches, and with no date, a pick up and go of sorts. ... Be interesting to compare your results. That's my plan for my incoming Trident Diver... use the Cranwell as a daily wear and then swap to the Trident Diver when I ...

Re: CWL of the day

It’s really nice sometimes to wear just one watch for days on end. I picked this out when the really hot weather was forecast, because of the superb bracelet. And to think I nearly sold this. Crazy – it’s just a great summer watch. Agree with that... I've been wearing my C65 Cranwell for about a we...

Re: Before sending back

I also did also buy two 595s in the sale earlier in July, one on mesh bracelet and one on strap, as I wasn't sure if I would like the bracelet style and intended to return the one I didn't like. In the end, I did like the 595 and the bracelet, so kept that one and still have the other boxed and unwo...

Re: Before sending back

From the FAQ: https://www.christopherward.com/int/60-guarantee.html Does bracelet resizing affect my 60|60 Guarantee? No. Taking the plastic off should be fine as well. They state the only requirement is " in perfect condition" so try it on but be careful. I'm not 100%, but I wonder whether that re...

Re: New Malvern 595

Hi,

I got a 595 in the sale, it’s a lovely watch. If you are interested, there are still watches appearing on the Christopher Ward Clearance page and I have seen the odd 595 pop up in the last few days, so might be worth keeping an eye out.

Cheers
Gaey

Re: CWL of the day

Trying something a bit more formal today... taken the mesh bracelet from the C5 595 and paired this with my C5 MMXV FLE... I like it :D

Re: July Sale

Was so very tempted by this, but it would have been almost duplicating the C65 Cranwell I already have, so resisted

Hope it's gone to a good home

Re: More items are slowly adding onto the sales page

Yes, quite a lot of nice watches, this one (C65 Trident GMT) was briefly tempting, but I'm more than happy with what I got in the last sale. Good luck to anyone else looking

Re: CWL of the day

Thanks for the compliment. I've tried wearing the Sandhurst on both straps, mostly NATOs, and the bracelet. Whilst the watch looks good on either, it ends up 'wearing' small on the straps but larger on bracelet. I feel this is due to the visual impression given when on bracelet that it makes the lu...

Re: CWL of the day

Definitely weather for a bracelet, rather than strap... wasn't sure about the Cranwell on its bracelet, but actually does work rather well :D

Re: CWL of the day

JasperCat, love that Cranwell. Looks great on that strap. Cheers. Loving that Dartmouth too, however being ex RAF it had to be the Cranwell for me :D I must try a NATO though, been a long while since I've worn any watch on one, in fact the last was my Seiko RAF Chronograph about 30 years ago
