Re: C65 Aquitaine - Graphite (concept)

The Aquitaine has a lot of untapped potential, in my opinion. Have you seen the 'heritage' mock up posted by another member here?

Re: The Rolex Explorer

It's a bizarre world we live in. Most people drive cars worth more than the watch in question and when one buys and drives a new car (mostly on some sort of finance package) no-one bats an eyelid, yet spend half that on a watch and all of a sudden perceptions change. I suppose it is due to the fact ...

That’d be entertaining…

Agh, and another Sealander missed.

In fact, all of the new additions appear to have already sold.

Re: January 2024 Sale

If anyone sees another 'Foxglove' C63, I'd appreciate a heads up.; I just missed the one that came up earlier. One CWE facebook group member said he cancelled his foxglove order so there should be one very sooon - keep watching the site! Thanks, nothing yet thought, unless it's already gone.

Re: Physics Tools

The problem with these sorts of apps, is that they are largely useless in isolation and just raise more questions. The best thing to do if you are in any way concerned, is to have the watch checked with a timegrapher to give it a 'health check'.

Re: 36mm with cosc sellita

Two options would be...
1. Swap out the movement for a COSC version.
2. Regulate the movement to as close as possible to COSC specs.

Personally, if I were looking to swap movements, I'd upgrade to the JLP G100, if you can find one.

Re: cases all the same?

It's funny, I was just looking at the same thing and considering a 'special' Sealander. I already have a movement to replace the Sellita. May I ask what movement? I don't like SW200/ETA2824 (don't ask) but I wouldn't mind a LJP G100 at all. Not sure if 100% interchangeble or if it's even available ...

It's funny, I was just looking at the same thing and considering a 'special' Sealander. I already have a movement to replace the Sellita. I've got a few CW with the 36 and 40mm cases, so I'll measure up. The dials between the 36 Sealander and 40mm Sapphire and Atoll, appear to be the same, but I hav...

Leave the crown out so that any water vapour trapped in the watch can escape.

Still no guarantees it will completely remove all water ingress🙄
Good idea, rice also works.

^^^^ There will be 300 thoroughly jarred off Blue Bel Canto owners, including me, if CW released a further Blue Edition. :grumble: :grumble: Guy I would be more than ‘jarred off’, I’d be waving the Sale of Goods Act, under the Consumer Rights Act.
