Re: SW200-1 COSC: stiffness on the crown & stem
It’s not a brand issue, it’s more of a movement issue.

Re: Is this really true?
Entirely possibly with the recent price positioning. I think that a lot of luxury watch manufacturers have misread the market and will now struggle with sales as a result.

Re: What’s ahead in 2025?
We might see the introduction of the upgraded SW200-1, the SW200-2, introduced this year. Whilst unlikely to be revolutionary in design, it does come with a reported 65 hours of power reserve, which is nice. Bigger PR is nice, but what about fixing the gritty hand widing that causes the movement to...

I posted this in the 'Off topic' section, but it is actually relevant here too.

Sellita SW200-2
I have read just recently, that Sellita might be releasing their much anticipated SW200-2 movement this year. This is quite exciting, if you're that way inclined. One particular improvement appears to be an increased power reserve of 65 hours and the movement is meant to be interchangeable with the ...

Re: First CW — Need Help Choosing
You can usually find most of CWs offerings on eBay. It depends no how much you are willing to spend though, as some sellers are quite ambitious with their pricing.

Re: seconde/seconde Snake watch?
What is this hypotheses based on? Just the general lack of Twelves I've seen out in the world. Wondering what their sales numbers have been like on those and if they feel the need to "get creative" to move them. There were also a bunch in the Jan sale, although they tended to be the 36 mm...

Re: SW200-1 COSC: stiffness on the crown & stem
Just to add (because I missed it) the SW300 is considered a premium movement, but will not be replaceable for the SW200, due to differences in dimensions and dial post locations.

Re: SW200-1 COSC: stiffness on the crown & stem
Hi, I'm new to the forum and have the same issue with an 18 month old Trident 300. It has been back once already and had the reverser wheels lubricated but it's gone stiff again. Is this just something you have to live with on the SW200 movement? Sounds like the 300 movement is better and I wonder ...

Re: seconde/seconde Snake watch?
Super lazy design and the whole purchase window thing means they aren't confident enough in the design to commit to a production number. It's garbage like this and the previous Desk Diver that makes serious collectors shy away from the brand. I'm not entirely sure that watch collectors are the targ...

Re: Sealander Accuracy
There are many variables that affect the timekeeping of a mechanical watch and even COSC certified watches will drift over time. The best thing to do, is to wear and use your watches normally for a couple of weeks and note the timekeeping. Ask a local watchmaker to regulate to your personal use, ie,...

Notice the circular indices?

Re: C65 dune shoreline the only one?
The LE looked like it was copying an Oris Diver 65 colorway so I am glad CW came out with some new/different colors . I think the C65 Dune is a better watch. Certainly better finished. Probably so but that was not my point. There's nothing new under the sun, particularly with colour pallets and I'm...
