Re: C7 Apex speculation

eBay will fully protect a buyer if the watch is not as described. The system is also easily gamed if you decide you don't want the item, by declaring it faulty. No way around it, in those circumstances the seller has to offer a full refund and the worst that ebay will do to the buyer is to put a bla...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 movement reliability

My answer would be something along the lines of... Do you think it's normal for a watch costing several hundred pounds, really? You have a five year warranty, make use of it. The watch has been repaired once, if you are happy to keep accepting repairs, that is fine, but you are entitled to a refund ...

Re: Customer service

Just my tuppenceworth, I've had nothing but exemplary customer service from CW. No more than a days wait for email responses, but I usually phone anyway. Problems always resolved and customer service staff always pleasant to deal with.

Oh man I would pay to have someone take my bronze Airman to the ocean and drench it repeatedly.

Make some DIY seawater, dip watch for a suitable "swimming" time, remove to dry, rinse and repeat as required.

Re: watch strap question

Those two straps are different materials. They won’t wear the same.

...and I’d say that looking at the OPs strap, it’s what is likey to happen with synthetic composite straps.

Maybe it’s time for CW to issue unique ‘single use’ voucher codes? There was talk about rewarding loyalty at the Edinburgh GTG, unique voucher codes would achieve this. Generic codes then only to be used at sale time.
That would work.

Re: Spring 2019 promo codes

Why the angst?

These sellers might not even know that the codes dropping through their letter box are not exclusive. If one were given a transferable discount voucher that wasn’t needed, why not sell it?

Re: C60 Homage

Nobody should be surprised that a Chinese manufacturer can knock out these types of watches at a far lower cost than the original brands and with similar quality. Modern manufacturing techniques enable mass production to an excellent standard and choosing a reliable and cheap Japanese movement as th...

Re: MK I Trident info please

So, to be clear, MKI 38mm autos are C61 300
MKII autos are C60 600s with new dial
MKII quartz are C60 300 with MKI dial

Have I got it?
