Re: What Car do you drive??
I have to admit sadly to helping the DVLA boost its tax income coffers. Mainly because as every time I think I'll trade one in, dealers offer such miserable amounts, I think, may as well keep it. This route is not sustainable or will be my marriage if it happens again, however, from the list I am de...

Re: Elliot Brown Holton Professional - new British Military Issue watch
@kyoto - Elliot Brown's premises are in Poole and, whilst they do not have a shop, they are always willing to see visiting enthusiasts (by appointment). Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Thanks, I will follow this up and hopefully report back when I have been, in case of use to othe...

Re: Elliot Brown Holton Professional - new British Military Issue watch
Have only just discovered this brand, so thank you for posting about it. I live in the area and have visited the RN Cordite Factory at Holton Heath, so given the watches bear names of this local establishment as well as the sequestered village of Tyneham (now a weekend tourist location) prior to WW2...

Re: Kyoto SOTC Dec 2018
Fantastic and varied collection you have. The DSSD and PO are obvious stars but I'm also intrigued by your Corum GMT, I haven't seen that model before and I do like a colourful dial. The Ascari is my favourite of your CW's. It does look like your Hublot F1 is missing from the photo? Thanks, Hublot ...

Re: Kyoto SOTC Dec 2018
Thanks for your comments, the Hublot F1 is now sold but I am on the lookout for more of the CW motorsport range such as the C70 Vanwall edition.

Re: Alan Sugar’s [overvalued] Rolex collection
Wouldn't Alan Sugar be a useful Ambassador for Rolex with his media coverage, as such he would have the watches supplied and they would be sourced not via the normal AD network we mortals have to use. You would think so but according to his own tweets it appears he buys from high street retailers j...

Re: DIY Water Resistance Tester– 3 bar
. !!Safety Warning!! Compressed air can put out an eye, cause severe injury, or death. Proceed at your own risk. The unit I built operates at 3 bar pressure. Champagne bottles typically contain 6 bar. Would you attempt to handle your Cristal without eye protection, hard hat, face shield, and cut-re...

Re: Withdrawing Sold items from the 'sales corner'

One for items still for sale One for items sold or withdrawn (Im not o...
