Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Here's the black hands / markers version I posted pages back. Left the seconds hand steel and per StrappedUp's suggestion, color matched the base of the gmt hand to the dial. This is the one for me if it Carrys forward to the voting stage. I know it would be a long shot but I have my fingers crosse...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Blackened Hands / Indicies This is a great mock up and would be my choice. could I trouble you for the bezel in the light grey and darker grey from the two tone but as a single colour. I have no photoshop skills and have a feeling the lighter grey would look killer. If you cant no worries I underst...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Thanks for the recap, it helps seeing them listed like that For those with the mock up skills would somebody be willing to do the GMT 5 with the lighter grey from the two time bezel and also one of the Black dial variants. Any will do as it's purely for reference to see what the lighter bezel would ...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Not sure if this is a daft question but probably worth asking. There are people with tree trunks for wrist and there are people with knitting needles like myself. Do you think doing 25 in 38mm and 25 in 42mm if indeed a GMT is selected. I suspect we wouldn't get the numbers but throwing it out there...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Absent of the bezel change and connected minute markers, very similar to the one I did for the CWE group. Despite its explorer look, I really like this. As kip says the original starting part always ends up as something different. I watch with great interest at what everybody comes up with This so ...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

The previous cwe version was white dial with red, may be could go for orange accents instead. This is a real rough job on rendering (I'm heading out now) but think you can get the idea. I think it really suits the grey tone on the bezel. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190726/401b43e36e5080f6c5a...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

The oris source of life was what I was interested in when it came down to that price. good work. Pragnells has some great deals and I am seriously considering not getting a 1990 sea dweller from watchmaster that I am down for You can still pick up the source of life for £1200 in store according to ...

Re: New Nereide dive watch launched today by Meccaniche Veneziane

I certainly wouldn't get bent out of shape over receiving a Sellita instead of an ETA. Many manufacturers list bought in movements under their own reference number, it's up to the buyer to do a modicum of research before ordering. Phil the movement change never bothered me at all. What has slowly s...

Re: New Nereide dive watch launched today by Meccaniche Veneziane

^ What was the better offer? The originally-promised ETA movement or a cheaper price? I was one of the people that fell for their come back offer which was 499 euros (Cheaper than the 515 euro early bird price which was sold out at the time) with a free jubilee bracelet (worth 65 euros) and a extra...

Re: New Nereide dive watch launched today by Meccaniche Veneziane

I will try to make this short kickstarter - watch billed as GMT with ETA, over 800 backers People that left the campaign where emailed and offered better deal to return, backers got wind, creators said sorry and offered all a free oyster bracelet fast forward to now, no oyster bracelet being given a...
