Re: C65 AM GT LE vs the VEV editions

...it's a little off-putting for owners of the AM GT LE to hear there's a new model which is pretty much the same. I’m not bothered by new models looking so much like the AM GT LE, so much as I am them being quartz. Part of the appeal of the AM GT LE for me was that it was supposedly the last quart...

I am drawn to ... having both second and minute centre hands for the stopwatch
Same here. A big appeal of the AM GT LE was the central minute counter. Very necessary to make the watch useful with my aging eyes!

C65 AM GT LE vs the VEV editions

The VEV thread has been an interesting one to follow in terms of the interest in these two new offerings. I looked back over the thread when the AM GT LE was introduced , a model nearly identical to these two new models (superior even if you ask me, but I’m biased!) at the same price point. My read ...

However, there is one thing I just can't get past: Why is the (rather bad) model name on the bezel? It just looks incredibly awkward
I thought the same thing. I’m glad they didn’t do that with the AM GT LE.

Are the rest of us also able to join in this good news with our own "proud bits?"
Please do! I imagine the title “Proud dad bragging a bit” can apply to a great many of us!

Re: How do you define a 'Sports Watch' ??

Something I’d add is that I see a sports watch as built to take some abuse, whether it’s going to actually get that abuse or not. I also think tool watches and sport watches overlap a bit with the sport watch trending towards a bit dressier than the tool watch. I feel like we need a Venn diagram to ...

Re: New limited edition releases

As much as I want to order one, I think ill wait a while for the next last ever. Or the one after that. Not happy. Kind of like The Who and touring. I saw them on their FIRST final tour. They’ve probably done a dozen more tours since then. I’ll cut them slack though because they’re The Who, and my ...

Re: Undetterred-March 2021

Lovely tight collection, but there's an empty slot. Any plans to fill it? Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk C65 Pepsi👍🤣 That will be a great addition, joining some already outstanding watches. You’ve already got two of the best releases CW put out this year - the Deep Blue SC and the C60 Blu...
