Re: It's All About Me

A few years back I was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. I was excited to see (for a second time) a small installation of a Renaissance era wood paneled room that I actually teach about in class. I took a 360° pic of the room and walked away, only to realize once it was too late that I didn’...

Re: Bremont goes Varsity

This kind of stuff really does make me cringe. What about it makes you cringe? And I don’t ask because I don’t understand, but because there are so many things about this over which one might cringe! So which particular thing gets your goat? My alma mater offers branded watches. I just shake ...

Re: Professional, Executive, Luxury, Exclusive...

Interesting post. I’ve found that the label “Professional” or its shortened form “Pro” has lost its intended meaning and most typically IS NOT what one would find a pro using. [edited for content] It’s my observation that professional is increasingly a marketing label for something intended for the ...

Re: Sizing a bracelet

The new bracelet has arrived! Sizing was relatively easy (in terms of removing the pin & collar links) and I got the fit perfect the first try - two links on one side, one on the other side with the micro adjuster in the center is giving me a perfect fit with room to adjust either direction. Getting...

I’ve been there, my friend! My ex moved out in Valentines Day...the best Valentines gift ever.

And my CW was a wedding gift from my current wife. Best gift ever.

Re: Sizing a bracelet

Thank you for all the tips. I’m just waiting on the tools I ordered before giving it a go. I found a video on YouTube of someone removing links from a C60 bracelet, so I’m feeling pretty good about doing it myself.

Re: Sizing a bracelet

The bracelet has arrived, and it is most impressive. The quality is outstanding compared to other bracelets I have. Question though.... I assumed there would be arrows in the links indication which direction to push the pins out, but there aren’t. Can anyone tell me from what direction (relative to ...

Re: Sizing a bracelet

If it’s a CW SS it’s a pain, because they use pin and collar links. I find it almost impossible with a changing tool like the one below and I’d find it fully impossible without it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Removal-Adjuster-Bracelet-Remover-Repair/dp/B01M0V03X9 The pins in the tool are too short to ...

Sizing a bracelet

Any tips on how to size a bracelet easily and efficiently? I’d like to avoid remove-a-link/add-a-link trial & error approach, if that’s possible. I assume I ought to mount the bracelet then size?

Any tips for cleaning a watch?

The subject line says it all. Any tips? Or more importantly, anything to NOT do? (It’s a stainless steel watch.)

Re: Small Bright Spot for CW Customer Service

I hope for your sake it's the right one when it arrives, and that it's not damaged or Nearly New - I just feel you're a bit premature in your praise. That thought hadn’t even entered my mind. While this is anecdotal in nature, all my previous experiences with CW have been positive. But as has been ...

Re: Small Bright Spot for CW Customer Service

Problem is that this experience is sales related. The back of the shop is still burning. :feuer: Clearly! I know my experience here is isolated in its nature (simple sales question and dealing with a specific individual), but I still wanted to share something positive, as isolated as it might be.
