Re: Unplanned (well a bit) bronze oris bcpd

I’ve never been a fan of bronze watches...until this one! It’s a beauty! That’s a bronze watch I’d wear in a heartbeat.

If you prefer to be Sean Connery in Thunderball, take the C65. If Craig and Skyfall is more your bag, go for the C60.
That just might be the best description yet for capturing the aesthetic and dare I say emotional difference between the C65 and the C60! That’s brilliant, Steve!

Re: Where did it all start?

CW first came to my attention after reading about the Tridents on a style blog I follow. I bookmarked the CW webpage and followed the brand quietly for a few years, with a C60 Trident as an aspirational purchase. Fast forward to December, 2016, when my then fiancé asked what I might like as a weddin...

Re: Forum Names

Jkbarnes is a reference to Jake Barnes, from Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises . I adopted it for online use when I was going through a rough patch in my life and felt a connection to the character. I also didn’t want to use anything close to my real name so that it wasn’t easy for students to find me ...

Here you go. Sorry they are not taken from exactly the same angle or distance - the joys of a mobile phone and not enough fingers to hold it steady and press the shutter! Exactly what I wanted to see, thank you! Man, if CW produced a trident with the dial, bezel, and hand set of the C60 MkIII but i...

Re: C60 v C65 Decisions decisions

Your photos are great for comparative purposes. Any chance you could share some images of both watches on the wrist from the side, to get more of a sense of how they sit on the wrist, especially in light of your comment about the proportions of the C60 at 40mms.

Re: Music Streaming Services

Apple Music user here. My choice in Apple Music had mostly to do with being a lifelong Apple user and already committed to Apple’s ecosystem. I really love it, however I’ve got be honest, I probably barely tap into most of its features. I have a bad habit of listening to the same old playlists over ...

Re: Luxury watches...worth it?

The short answer would be yes, by evidence of this forum and others like it. Clearly, to us, luxury watches are worth it. I think this is less about watches specifically though, and more about luxury items in general. And the end of the day, this is a purely subjective impression based on ones own i...

Re: C65 Anthropocene Limited Edition

This watch on the leather looks fantastic to me. I quite like the contrast of the black date wheel. As I look at it though, I can’t help but wish there was an option to get a green bezel. I’d be throwing my money at CW if that was the case. Brown leather strap, white dial, and green bezel are a beau...
