Re: Which way to go for the big 5-0?

Without too much effort, here's the watch available from FirstClassWatches (never bought from there myself). https://www.firstclasswatches.co.uk/oris-big-crown-pointer-date-brown-leather-strap-01-754-7741-4065-07-5-20-63-p-49049/ Currently retailing for £1150 on there, but down to £1035 with promo c...

Re: Which way to go for the big 5-0?

The Oris BCPD is £1250 RRP. I'd be surprised if you had issues getting at least 20% off that.

Re: Which way to go for the big 5-0?

What about something from Oris? Continuing with the blue theme ... Oris ProPilot 41mm. What makes this one a bit different compared to others is the knurled bezel. Just fab! https://i1.wp.com/watchclicker.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Oris-Big-Crown-ProPilot-0-3.jpg?resize=1067%2C1600&ssl=1 Oris Bi...

Splendid Ferg! Proper sports watch 8)

I'm still hoping that CW produce something like this using the new 38mm case.
Would be criminal not to do more with it!

Re: Selling on Ebay

The Omega Speedmaster Schumacher that I have on EBay and also listed here, the one with the bright yellow dial: I've had several tyre-kickers on EBay one of whom simply didn't complete the transaction by paying for his purchase and eventually messaged me to say that if I contacted EBay about his be...

Re: Forever watch...

I'd personally take the C60 MK3 over the older alu bezel Hydroconquest every day of the week. I've handled both and was much more impressed with the CW. The hands and markers give the dial real depth and the case finishing is a notch above. I would go further Ryan. I remember trying on an alu bezel...

Re: C60 Elite GMT 1000

That is a very purposeful looking dive/travel watch. Very much like the black/red. Re. thickness, I assume it is just the exhibition caseback that gives this the additional height over the standard GMT? If so, it'd be a decent idea to give people the option of steel/glass when purchasing to shave t...
