Re: Another Panerai in the Fold

Very nice addition Gary and I have a bit of a thing for the colours on the white dial PAM.

Instantly reminded me of the white Hamilton Khaki that I've come close to buying on a few occasions.

Congrats and wear it in good health

Re: Coronavirus

A week on from the pubs opening in the UK.... Has anyone yet paid a visit? We went yesterday lunchtime. Only open outside. Place order at a half open window near the door. Pick up drinks from the normal outside serving hatch. Sit at a well spaced table by the river. :) A small pieces of normality, ...

Re: July Sale

How exclusive can it be when there was a "Sale" menu link on the CW website the couple of times I took a peek yesterday?

Would someone kindly post a link please.
It isn't actually live yet. Looks like someone accidentally posted a link on the official page.
A few glimpses were had before it was removed.

Re: Non CW of the Day

That's cracking Ryan. You pleased with it in the end after the deliberation? Very much so. The burgundy fume dial is a real thing of beauty in person and the proportions are perfect for my wrist. Not overly keen on the leather strap (I plan on getting it wet), although that can be easily remedied.

Re: Non CW of the Day

Ah I see what you did there Ryan! :) Congratulations on the new arrival. I think it’s a great looking watch. Neil Thanks Neil. Similar to the ceramic Hydroconquest chrono I tried on the other day, no photos online do this watch any justice. Although I think Lindsey is doing a stellar job ...

Re: A bit of blue

Does this friend already have steel and alu bezel sports watches?

If so, adding something a bit glossy and "playful" like the regular C60 would add something different to his collection.

Re: What’s the best thing about the watch you’re wearing right now?

For me, my GS is all about the way the light reflects off the razor-sharp hands and indices. It can be truly mesmerising at times.
And if you catch this watch in the right light, they switch to disco mode giving off subtle hints of colours galore.

Re: C60 Sapphire

I watched the YouTube review a couple of weeks ago. The reviewer is specifically mentioning the edge of the sapphire crystal. With some brands, the crystal meets flush with the bezel insert, but the C60 crystal sits above it relatively prominent. I believe it's always been the case with C60 models, ...

Re: C65 Dartmouth QC Question

^^^ I believe what you've both pointed out is because the watch is tilted in the photo (bottom is closer to the camera than the top).

The raised indices are slightly obstructing the dial at the top of each one making the gap look larger underneath.

Re: C65 Dartmouth QC Question

Don't know whether the photo angle changes anything, but holding a ruler/drawing a line straight through the centre of the markers etc has it lined up fine. Don't ever buy a Seiko dive watch whatever you do  As Patrick stated though, if you're not happy, may be best to see if something can be d...

Beautiful watch Patrick. My favourite model out of the latest Seamasters.

Out of interest, how does it stack up against the PO?
