Re: Non CW of the Day

Hi everyone, it has been awhile since I posted. I guess I have been MIA, so to speak. Since last time I added this Tudor Heritage Ranger some time back, it is a milestone watch for me. I guess almost all of our watches represent special occasions or milestones.
Cheers, Mike.

Re: Steinhart Ocean 39 Marine Blue - Ltd Ed 200pcs

Finally, it shows up!!(# 193 of 200)..initial impressions are: 1)the bezel is pretty easy to rotate and the clasp isn't too terribly sticky, which are welcome departures from many Steinys in this price range, 2)the blue dial is a medium shade of blue under direct light and a much darker shade of bl...

Re: SOTC nordwulf Feb 2019

Great collection Frank, the Oris's, the Damasko and the Seiko's are stellar and that Casio Oceanus is very cool looking as well and I like the CW Worldtimer. How is the lume on the Oceanus and how comfortable is the 2nd upper crown on the Worldtimer?

Re: Oris Aquis Date Relief Special Edition

Another nice looking Aquis from Oris, I really like the bezel and the grey sunburst dial with the red seconds hand. Judging from the specs it would fit the same as my blue dial Aquis 43.5mm, which is to say, it fits smaller than it looks with a lug to lug of 49.4mm. I think it is nicer than the gree...

Re: Not one.....but two!

Agreed well done on getting the CW's but not the BB58 :-o . If you need some excuses for SWMBO as to why you don't need to sell the Tudor then I'm sure we can assist  This is SWMBO. please come up with any ideas. I’d love to hear them. Just concerned about how we eat for the next couple of...

Re: FIRST LOOK: ORIS PRODIVER DIVE CONTROL LIMITED EDITION

Interesting look for sure, but way too large for my wrist and way too expensive for my wallet.

I can see why this would be a limited edition because there will be limited interest.

Re: Nearly New - but is it near enough?

Dean you scored a great watch at a give away price.

Wear it for a few weeks and you will probably forget the small marks but you will always remember the great price you paid for a quality watch.

Enjoy it.

Re: New automatic C65 Diver is being released January 31st

Now my curiosity is really piqued, a narrow bezel with just arabic numbers, a date and nice dial detail with a combination of round and baton hour markers. Add a bunch of lume and a choice of bezel colours ( red/burgundy, or black ) and we could have a real winner here folks.

Re: What's been your most worn watch of 2018?

Even though I only bought it August 9th, this one does get the majority of wrist time and when added up it is my most worn watch for 2018 and for good reason. Knocked the heck out of my regular rotation.

Re: So, there's this watch company..

Yeah, I finally got in to the CW archive sales section, tried a few times today with no luck. Oh well nothing there for me this time but I sure wonder when they will get their server fixed. It has to be very frustrating for anyone who is hot to trot to get a good bargain though.

Re: Steinhart Ocean 39 Explorer

I do like the addition of the 3, 6, 9 Arabic numerals and the 39mm size but it might be a bit thick at 14mm. Nonetheless an interesting watch, thanks for sharing.

Re: What are the biggest porkies an AD has ever told you?

When, a long time ago, I was in the motor trade I worked with a great salesman. We had a very nice, desirable used XR3i in stock. Robin showed it to a potential buyer one Saturday morning, who really liked it, but said that he'd think about it and be back in the afternoon. After the customer left, ...
